Natasha Denona Bronze Collection
One of my greatest regrets in life is getting involved with Natasha Denona – she is costing me a fortune! I just want everything and now I am on a mission to have all of the palettes. All of them. I know, I don’t need anymore palettes but oh would you just look at how beautiful they are. So far in the collection I have just four; Tricolour (which I need to swatch and review for you), Love, Retro and the fabulous Bronze. You cannot go wrong with a bronze palette in your collection and if you have yet to take the plunge, Natasha Denona Bronze is the one to go for. Reminiscent of endless summer days, sun kissed skin and those golden glows, this is the palette that will flatter all skin tones. Take it into autumn and winter, and swap the sunset hues for crisp golden leaves and you have a fully universal palette, whatever the time of year.

Natasha Denona Bronze Eyeshadow Palette
The Bronze palette is one of the range’s mid size palettes, just like Love and Retro and retails for £60. Featuring fifteen shadows in a beautiful spectrum of shades that can be removed from the palette and reinserted to create a colour story that works well for you. I have never felt the need to rearrange my shades and this is probably the one palette from Denona that I have looked at to see numerous combinations with it’s current layout.
Five matte shades, one satin shade and nine metallic shimmer shades gives a good versatility and great options and every shade is very wearable. The quality is fantastic. Compared to the other palettes, I found the mattes to be more velvety and soft and the metallic shades to be richer yet not as creamy which poses well for staying power when applying them to the eye.
You can really tell that the shadows are of the highest quality. The pigmentation is incredibly high, the blend exceptionally well, although most looks I have created have had a tendency to look similar but that is at no discredit to the palette. The metallic shades pop and look amazing when wet or over a glitter glue. It’s almost like a molten metal finish which can create such an impact.
I am completely enamoured by Natasha Denona Bronze and I think this will end up being the one palette that I will use over and over again with the amount of looks I can create from these shades. From day to night, subtle to smoky, there’s nothing this palette cannot do.

Natasha Denona Bronze Face Glow Palette
I picked this up as it was a little bargain for a Natasha Denona product. Reduced from £51 to £25, it’s still available on Look Fantastic with the 50% off. Without being negative, I can see why the Face Glow palettes are reduced as I don’t feel that it’s particularly up to standard of the Denona brand.

Packaging as always is neat and sleek, and I really do like the inclusion of the Perspex cover that sits over the cream shades to protect them from the powder fall out. The products inside contain two cream products and two powder products, to give a beautiful bronze glow to your face. Starting with the Super Glow powders, these are intensely pigmented and you really do not need a lot on your brush to make an impact.
Bronze is a deep and warm, rich bright copper shade with an intense gold shimmer that sits on the skin with a metallic finish. I think I would only be able to wear this to it’s maximum effect when I have a tan as it’s so opaque when you apply it. It does also make a great shade to wear on the eyes.
Nude is one for me. A light peachy gold with a sparkly metallic finish, this is so lovely. It’s quite a firm powder and I found I needed a denser brush to pick up the product well, but when it’s on the skin it looks amazing. It doesn’t highlight skin texture and lasted all day.
The cream shades are unusual to say the least. Described as a ‘bounce cream’ that’s used for highlight and blush, they have somewhat of an strange texture. When you press your finger into the product to pick it up, it moves the product in the pan and pushes it to the edges, leaving an indent. It’s a very weird texture. It’s also not like any of Denona’s other cream products like the Love blusher and highlighter palette. It’s almost impossible to pick the product up with a brush and you definitely need to use your finger to apply it. It lacks an emollience about it, so it’s quite a stiff dense clay rather than a luxury product.

Once on the skin, they did look nice and gave a nice subtle glow. I found them to be slightly sheerer than I thought they would be. They did last on the skin, giving a good glow for several hours and again, did not highlight skin texture. When applying, they did need some diffusing and I do think that the lack of emollient texture made it harder for the cream to melt into the skin.
It’s a bargain, don’t get me wrong but I can’t say that I’ve been blown away by the performance of the face palette and I definitely could live without it.
As I seem to be on a mission to get all of the Natasha Denona palettes, which one do you think I should get next? I’m thinking Sunset.
