Natasha Denona Love Collection

I knew from the moment that I tried Natasha Denona that it was going to be a costly love affair. Last summer I picked up the mini Tropics palette as during lockdown I really wanted a vibrant blue and green eye look for one of my Houseparties. When I say Houseparty, I hope you all know that I mean the app that kept my social life going for several weeks. I digress. The Natasha Denona Tropics palette set me off and since then I have added a few more palettes and products to my ever growing makeup collection including the incredibly beautiful and much needed Natasha Denona Love collection. Love. It most certainly is.

Natasha Denona Mini Love Palette
I did start off on the right foot and chose the £22 Natasha Denona Mini Love palette over the £60 palette. Five shades of pink perfection, it’s actually very wearable due to the undertones and purple hues. A curated palette of mattes, shimmers, metallics and duo chromes, the shades within are lovingly named and have the same high quality formulation as the shadows you would find in the larger palettes. The pigmentation is incredible and you really do only need a small amount of product. The shade YOU does have a tendency to move around when you use it. I find it’s best when you use your finger to apply this shade.
Shades:
YOU – Mauve Rose Gold – 354DC
ARE – Antique Lilac – 355CM
MY- Aubergine (Deep Eggplant) – 356CM
TRUE – Icy Pastel Pink -357M
LOVE- Warm Medium Pink – 358M

Natasha Denona Love Cheek Duo
Oh look, I’ve been sucked into beautiful packaging once again. I mean, just look at it. Pink, glittery and sparkly, the compact opens up to reveal a decent sized mirror and two stunningly beautiful products.
The blusher, Natasha Denona’s best selling shade Darya has a silky smooth texture that glides across the skin. Heavily pigmented, you need the smallest amount and build up from there. I prefer to dot it on with my fingertips and blend out seamlessly. It settles into a powder like finish, giving a subtle luminosity and fresh healthy glow.
The Highlighting Impact Powder is quite simply the dreamiest highlighter I own. It’s a gel powder formulation that needs little product to create a flawlessly radiant lit from within pink hued glow. It’s not a shade that I would usually go for with a highlighter, as I prefer a more champagne coloured shade but this looks so beautiful on my skin. It’s also a perfect highlighter if you like to smooth out skin texture with a seamless blend.

Natasha Denona Love Palette
There was no intention to buy the full sized palette after I bought the Mini Love Palette, but here we are. I actually did manage to get this with a glitch in the system on Look Fantastic and for some reason my 20% discount code worked against it making it £48 instead of the £60 it should retail for. I’m hoping I can get the Zendo, Sunset or Bronze palette on a discount next. Anyway… glitch, basket, mine. Love palette is a limited edition and I am not sure when it will be disappearing from sale however within the palette are 15 brand new shades, so hopefully they keep it in the permanent collection. You can create so many looks with this palette from neutral looks to intense pinks and purples. The palette holds creamy mattes, cream powders, duo chromes and the chroma crystal shadows. It’s such a beautiful palette and the shades are just unreal.
