Huda Beauty has gone from strength to strength in recent years and with the launch of Wishful, Huda has conquered the beauty and skincare market. Wishful Thirst Trap Juice Serum is the first product that I have tried from the Wishful brand and so far I’ve been quite impressed. Wishful has been born from a dream from Huda that her regime gave her everything she wished for when it came to combatting her struggles with problem skin. All the products in the range are results driven and tackle a whole spectrum of common skincare issues. If you have tried the Wishful Cocoon Mask, or want bouncy, juicy and plumped skin then Wishful Thirst Trap serum is for you.

I’ve always been somewhat dubious when a makeup brand crosses over into skincare but I must say just how much I’ve been enjoying Wishful Thirst Trap. A water based serum packed full of some super potent ingredients such as three types of hyaluronic acid, firming peptides, hollyhock rose and aloe Vera. An intensely hydrating serum that is not only hydrating the skin but strengthening and regenerating it too. It’s definitely a great addition to your routine if you are looking for anti ageing properties or to intensify your hydration.
I use more than I probably need from the bottle but it’s really beautiful and glides onto the skin but absorbing quickly. It’s ideal to use in a morning as it does soak in well, but I do use this more at night before some of my richer skincare items. It’s also quite soothing and great when used alongside an acid to calm the skin.
It’s very lightweight and doesn’t feel like you have anything on your skin and it doesn’t foam up when rubbed into the skin like some other hyaluronic acids that I’ve had recently. I do mainly use it in conjunction with other products but on the times I have used alone, I’ve felt my skin has really loved it. Even in the morning, I have the dewiness and plumpness where it’s added in the hydration and zero tightness across my face.
After using Wishful Thirst Trap, I’m definitely interested in trying some more of the skincare including the cocoon mask where Thirst Trap has been born from.
You can find Wishful and the Huda Beauty makeup collection at Cult Beauty and Boots.
