Latest In Beauty: The Glamour Beauty Edit
As an avid fan of beauty boxes, I kind of fell out of love with them over the last two months. The last Glossybox I purchased was about 12 months ago and Birchbox had faded into a distant memory. I have had a handful of the Latest In Beauty boxes, but my favourite was the last Glamour box that they made last Summer. Whilst reading my Glamour mag earlier this month, I spotted the new Latest In Beauty: The Glamour Beauty Edit and placed an order straight away. For just £16.95, the box was plentiful including the piece de resistance, the new Illamasqua Glamore nude lipstick.
The box itself is fab. White with a neon pink design, its a far cry from the usual plain black boxes and definitely stands out from the crowd. I also love the little finishing touches, like the lipstick kiss sticker holding the tissue paper together. Its the little things!
So, what’s inside I hear you cry. Let me tell you! Nine whole products just waiting to be pounced on, and for the first time ever, I can honestly say that I will use every one.
I love a good wash off bronzer and the Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan BB Perfector will be perfect for a golden glow when I’m away on my long haul trips. I’ll also keep the Velvotan Tanning Mit in my suitcase to use with the Rimmel. I don’t want any streaky bits and I cannot tan without a mitt! The Hawaiian Tropic Ultra Radiance Lotion SPF30 has arrived at just the right time. I’m running low on my favourite delicate bits sunblock and I think this will be a perfect replacement.
The make up that was featured in the Latest In Beauty Glamour Edit was the main reason why I purchased it, and of course because of the Illamasqua Glamore nude lipstick which retail for £18.50 on their own. I received Cherub which is a perfect nude for my naturally red lips. The Magnifibres Brush On False Lashes also intrigued me. I have heard so much about these brush on fibres that adhere to your lashes in between coats of mascara to lengthen then. I’ll definitely report back on this one.

I received the Crabtree & Evelyn in red. I’m really happy with this choice as I was eyeing up new red polishes last week. I can’t wait to try it out. I also got the Bourjois Cream Blush in 02 which is a lovely apricot colour blush. Bourjois call it Healthy Glow on their website, and the colour is a natural flush. I have a lot of time for Bourjois at the moment. The Toni & Guy Volume Plumping Whip has already been used and its a big thumbs up for me. My fine hair feels full of volume without feeling sticky and crispy. Finally, the DHC Deep cleansing Oil is back. I have received 2 of these in the past and was unsure, and I still am. I’m quite prone to milias, which is a build up of too much protein in the skin caused by oily products, so I try and steer clear. I’m going to give it another go though as people rave over it.
With a retail value of £86.15 and containing q full size Illamasqua lipstick worth £18.50 for only £16.95 including postage, I’m sure I don’t need to spell it out to you that its a brilliant box. You can treat yourself to one from the Latest In Beauty website.
