Whilst fulfilling my weekly browse of the Pat McGrath website, I spotted a little gem of a product that has dropped into the Xclusiv section, the Pat McGrath MTHRSHP Rose Decadence. If you aren’t aware of the Pat McGrath Xclusiv, this section of the website holds some absolute bargains. At Christmas, this is where the majority of the lipsticks were just £12. I bought 8. It’s also where all the limited editions go when they are clearing them out reading for the new launches. At the moment, the offerss are really good and there’s a lot of the Christmas gift sets, the Celestial Divinity collection as well as the Divine Rose collection. Nestled within, one of my favourite palettes of the moment, the Pat McGrath MTHRSHP Rose Decadence palette, down to £30 from £50.

The Pat McGrath MTHRSHP Rose Decadence palette is in a cardboard palette somewhat similar to the Mega Celestial Divinity palette, complete with internal mirror. The six shades inside are a mixture of mattes, shimmers and a duo chrome. The shades are new and are not featured in any other palette however if you do have several of Pat’s other palettes, you may be able to skip this one. Whilst new shades, they are not dissimilar to others so you may see some overlap. That being said for someone like myself who has yet to indulge in the larger palettes, I am incredibly happy with the colours and formulation with Rose Decadence.

The shades are below. I would urge you to have a look at the swatches on the PMG website of the Rose decadence palette. I’m not sure how they’ve been swatched or over what product but they are a lot different to my arm swatches which have been place on a basic eye primer.

Pink Champagne (Warm Frosted Pink)
Peach Dusk (Pink Coral Matte)
Fuchsia Flame (Warm Pink Duochrome with Fuchsia Purple Flash)
Golden Honey (Light Antique Gold Metallic)
Scandalous (Rose Bronze Metallic)
Hedonistic Rose (Mid-Tone Pink Mauve)

As with all PMG shadows, the quality is second to none. They are high performing, blendable and long wearing, and the emollient texture means that they swipe on with just one stroke to give a high impact opaque coverage. The shades are all so beautiful next to each other, making it easy to create a look using just one or two shades, or even going for a combination of all six.

What I love about PMG formulations is that I can create stand out eye makeup looks with ease because the shadows are so easy to use. They can be swiped on with fingers or a brush, enhanced when wet, buff out when dry. They really are of the highest standard. I would definitely recommend for you to watch how Pat applies her shadows on her models to get the effects she does. It’s mesmerising.

The palette isn’t in stock any longer at Selfridges or Net-A-Porter, so you can only get it from the official Pat McGrath site in the USA. It does take some time to get to you – I would allow at least 10 days however it has been known to arrive sooner, unless there’s a mega sale on and it will take about 4 years. The prices do work out cheaper from the USA site as well, and I have never had to pay any shipping or import duties either so it’s definitely a good option.

I still have the blushers on my wishlist, and I’m still waiting patiently for Selfridges to have them in store so I can swatch and choose one. Until then, I will continue to lust over them and the rest of the lipsticks that I don’t have in my collection.

Will you be getting anything from the Pat McGrath Xclusiv Offers? Let me know what you are thinking of buying!
