Jurlique. A relatively small brand in the world of skincare but one deserves to be spoken about a lot more. Hailing from Australia, with a brand ethos of using hand harvested and home grown ingredients to make the best products that you can find, Jurlique focuses on the power of healing herbs and connecting with nature. The brainchild behind Jurlique is Dr Jurgen Klein who once worked as a researcher for skincare brand Dr Hauschker and his wife Ulrike. Jurlique was born and is now the leading skincare brand in Australia and making waves in the UK with it’s natural formulas and incredible results. Hitting the market is the most advanced anti-ageing range; the Jurlique Nutri-Define range. I was going to share this some time back but after having a good few weeks of using the range in it’s entirety I can’t wait to share with you my thoughts on these products.

The collection is made up of six products to cover the main bases; a cleansing foam, lotion, serum, day and night cream and an eye cream. With the exception of the day cream, I have the rest of the products that I have been using religiously this past few weeks and I am very pleased with my results. I’ve previously mentioned just how much I’ve slimmed down my routine recently as I haven’t found the need to use several steps recently. My skin has never looked better and I do think that the lack of makeup and city pollutants has been beneficial. With the Jurlique products I have everything that I need to maintain this healthy skin I have become accustomed too.

Jurlique’s formulation within the Nutri-Define range includes the rejuvenation properties of the Spilanthes flower and Horseradish root, both of which are grown on the Jurlique farm and added to the signature Jurlique blend of rose, lavender, Marshmallow and calendula which I adore. The scent is amazing and I fell in love with Jurlique’s signature scent many years ago when I discovered the Jurlique Rosewater mist which is just dreamy. Jurlique Nutri-Define looks expensive, smells expensive and feels like it should be a lot more expensive than it is.

Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme Cleansing Foam

A very luxurious and rich cleansing foam that needs no more than pearl sized amount to create a wonderfully luxurious experience. Apply into damp palms before adding to your face, the foam lathers up and cleans without leaving any redness or tightness. My skin feels very smooth after cleansing which I attribute to the cleansing beads within the formulation, the sloughs away dead skin cells whilst cleansing. I do find that I need make sure that all traces of the cleanser are washed away from near my eyes as if I get any product in my eye, it really does play havoc with my sensitive eyes.

Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme Conditioning Lotion

I have been using this straight after my cleanse and during the day if I need any extra moisture if I’m having a no makeup day. I’m very close to ordering a new bottle as I have used so much up and it has fast become on of my much relied on products as of late. I only need 1 or 2 pumps of this lightweight moisturiser and after adding it to my face, I immediately see a luminous glow and fresh faced skin staring back at me. The lotion is extremely nourishing and I can tell that my areas of dehydrating are loving the effects as they feel a lot more smoother in texture. The lotion works to support the lipid barrier and balances out skin without leaving it looking greasy or oily. I cannot tell you just how much I adore this lotion right now and even more so when I add the Jurlique serum over the top for an extra skin boost.

Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme Rejuvenating Serum

The serum is one of Jurlique’s most advanced products in anti ageing and I have been literally dousing myself in it’s goodness . Another product that is verging on being nearly empty, I have been trying to use it more sparingly but with fail. When it comes to anti-ageing, I find that I have spent so many years on anti-ageing that I’m actually just in the maintain era. I don’t feel that my skin looks like I’m heading for my forties, and I must say that those fine lines and wrinkles that I have been culturing do not look any more pronounced. Plumping and firming, the serum needs just 2 pumps to cover my face and neck and with it being another very lightweight gel formula, it sinks into my skin with ease, making me looking glowy and fresh with a healthy complexion.

Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme Restoring Rich Cream

For any of my drier skinned ladies, you will love this rich formulation from the Nutri-Define range to help with your moisturising needs. It’s incredibly luxurious, with a subtle scent and the cream targets the firmness and elasticity of the skin by using the Horseradish extract that stimulates the production of collagen. For me, the rich cream is a little too rich and I find that it leaves more residue on the surface of my skin even if I only use a small amount. The Light version would be more suitable for my skin type and Laura Lou Makeup has written a great review on the range. That being said, I am not one to waste products so I do like to mix a small amount of the rich cream with a pump of the serum to thin it out a little and use this as my evening cream and save the lotion for my AM routine.

Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme Eye Contour Balm

Okay, so let’s talk about how rubbish I am with eye creams. It’s bad yet I really like them. Why do I always forget to do them? I got into such a great routine at one point and it has fallen by the wayside but Jurlique has made me snap back into it. How? Well, this handy little tool that comes with the cream has made all the difference. A metal ball on the the spatula is ideal for cooling and soothing, a nice relaxing lympathic drainage or helping depuff eyes when you are feeling a bit tired. One of the best things about this ball spatula and the addition of the eye balm is that it helped me immensely through my hayfever season. The balm doesn’t affect my eyes and feels like it’s leaving a barrier to protect me from the elements whilst the cooling ball applicator gives much needed TLC to the delicate area around my eye contour. The balm itself is very nourishing and creamy yet light and it just melts on touch with the skin. With the same formulation within the range, this helps maintain firmness whilst diminishing dark circles and giving an uplifted, brighter and wide awake looking eye.

I have been very pleased with the results that I have seen from using the Jurlique Nutri-Define range recently and I am extremely pleased with how my skin is looking without using masses of skincare products. This minimal, yet richer routine is working wonders and my skin looks and feels fresh and healthy, plumped up and nourished and maintained to the point where I have not seen any new lines or changes to my face. It’s definitely at a higher price point but compared to brands that I love such as Estee Lauder, Caudalie and Keihls, it’s slips right into the mix with ease.

You can purchase the Nutri-Define range directly from Jurlique but as a special treat for you, if you purchase through Look Fantastic and use my code ANOUSHKA_LF you can get 20% off!
