From my calculations, we have been blessed with the Too Faced Hangover Primer since around 2016. This was the time where I covered my face in the delicious coconut scented cream and let it work it’s magic. The Too Faced Hangover Primer has become pretty iconic for Too Faced, with further products being added to the range including a first for them in the form of skincare. I’ve been trying out some products lately and I’m just on the cusp of splashing out for the new latest launches but before I do, let’s look at some of the key products in the Too Faced Hangover range.

The Too Faced Hangover Range

The Too Faced Hangover Primer has featured quite heavily in my life over the years and it’s one of the few primers that I do repurchase for it’s lightweight texture and exotic scent. Combined with the fact that it’s silicone free, it revitalises my skin and makes me look awake whilst keeping my makeup in place all day. The standard sized tube is still available but the makeup Gods have listened and brought us the Too Faced Major Hangover Bigger Is Better Primer. The same great formulation but in a whopping 65ml tube compared to its 40ml predecessor. I am so happy to have a huge tube in my life and I hope that it lasts me a little longer than last time.

With setting sprays, I am very set in my ways with the ones that I use. M|y all time favourite has to be the Too Faced Peach Perfect but I have just found one that takes my setting sprays needs to the next level. It is limited edition but the Too Faced Hangover Setting Spray is currently available in a fresh watermelon infused scent. The spray itself is still packed full of hydrating coconut water and the super fine mist works well to prime, set and refresh my makeup. The scent is divine and reminds me of summer days, which I certainly cannot wait for.

The most interesting products to me have to be from the skincare line. Launched last summer, they certainly have caused quite the stir and have also received glowing reviews. Sometimes I am a bit dubious especially when a brand that is so well know for it’s makeup starts a skincare line – there’s that fine line where you’re stepping into new territory and it can either go well or flop terribly. Whilst I have only been using the skincare for a week or so, I’m actually pretty impressed at what I’ve seen so far.

Starting with the Too Faced Hangover Good in Bed Hydrating Serum, I have been using this the morning rather than at night as I find that it’s lightweight enough for day and doesn’t have an adverse effect on any makeup application. The first time I used it, I was quite surprised to see that the serum has a very fine shimmer running throughout the liquid. It doesn’t transfer onto the skin but I don’t think I have ever had any skincare with glitter in it. It’s very Too Faced and I haven’t seen any reactions on my skin because of it so I’m happy. The serum does leave a very slight and also slightly tacky film on the skin for a few minutes after application however this soon disappears as the product sinks in. The glow that has come onto my skin in the last few days is very apparent and I feel that I’m looking a lot more hydrated around my dehydrated areas thanks to the coconut water, Vitamin B5, hyaluronic acid and dragon fruit key ingredients. I will revisit this after a few more weeks and see how well it has performed.

I’ve been really pleased with the Too Faced Hangover Good to Go Moisturiser with SPF 25. This is a dream and I feel that it’s working really when combined with the serum. It does feel like a thicker version of the primer and it feels lovely on the skin. Even when I layer the primer on top, it’s like an extra boost of hydration. The glow that I am getting from these products is insane and my skin looks fresh and healthy. It’s a perfect combination for me as I love a sheer makeup look during the day and prefer to show my skin off. Whilst it’s looking this good, I don’t think I want to wear foundation. The addition of SPF 25 is also making me very happy as I do wear SPF every single day and you cannot beat a multi use product!

Since the serum and moisturiser have launched, Too Faced have now added three more products to the skincare line; Hangover Pillow Cream , Hangover Cleanser and Hangover Pillow Balm. I’m very very tempted to get these new bits just to complete the collection. I shall let you know if I do!

Have you tried any of the Too Faced skincare yet? I would love to hear your thoughts!
