Well, this a blast from the past. A relaunch for 2020 are the classic Ted Baker Sweet Treats perfumes in Ella, Polly and Mia. You may remember these from way back in 2012 and 2013 where they were introduced in slightly different bottles, but with the same lovely fragrances. They have been updated with new flacons in an ombré style, with a decadent jewel like gold lid. Housed in signature Ted Baker packaging, they do look very pretty and would make a great gift. I have been very lucky to receive Polly and Ella, both of which are lovely fragrances for day to day wear.

Polly comes in a hot pink bottle with matching jewel topped lid. The sweeter of the two, Polly is that fragrance that would suit a younger audience with its fruity top notes of mandarin, peach and berry with undertones of amber and vanilla. Sweet, girly and romantic, Polly applies as a burst of sweetness but settles down and warms into a more muskier finish. Longevity time is good, and wears for around 5 hours.

Ella is definitely more my type with an opening of bergamot and cassis before heart notes of jasmine, rose and orange blossom appear. Bottom notes of amber and vanilla are present alongside patchouli and sandalwood which leaves a more grown up sophistication. It’s a feminine and elegant, floral fruity fragrance that I love and love to wear.

The Ted Baker Sweet Treats fragrances are definitely designed for girls who look their perfumes to have personality and to change up your mood. Glamorous and sophisticated, fun and flirty, these are perfect for work and keeping in your handbag to brighten up your day and evening. At £18 for 30ml and £30 for 100ml eau de toilette, they certainly are purse friendly and for that price you can get both!

At this time, I do not want to encourage unnecessary spending in light of the current situation so I urge my readers to shop responsibly and only if it is an essential purchase. Thank you.
