Pixi x Denise – Mind Your Own Glow Palette

I am so incredibly lucky that I get to try so many new products that are hitting the shelves because every now and again you come across something that you know will be an essential for a long long time. It’s been a few years now that Pixi have collaborated with influencers across the pond, and in the UK with our very own Caroline Hirons and her Double Cleanse. I love the Pixi Pretties ranges and there have been a few little gems that have come from them including my current obsession, the Heart Defensor palette which I cannot stop using. I was recently sent this years collaborations with the four new palettes pictured below and straight away my eye was drawn to the radiance palette because I just love a glow. I’m hoping to get all four palettes swatched and shared for you but for now, the Pixi x Denise – Mind Your Own Glow Palette has got my full attention.

The Pixi x Denise palette contains 9 shades of radiance powders for just £16. £16! Can you believe that? One thing that I have to say about the Pixi Beauty powders are that the quality are them are just wonderful. They have that lovely creamy powdery feel which means that when they are applied to your skin, they blend out well and have a seamless finish and don’t look too powdery or cakey. They diffuse out to give that ‘lit from within’ glow that we all aspire to have from our makeup. Natural, healthy and radiant is on the menu with Pixi x Denise. The shades are also universal so will suit every skintone and they don’t need to worn alone. Layer them up for custom colours, use as eyeshadows or dust across your décolletage for a sunkissed glow.

The ultra soft mineral pigments have natural light reflecting particles s whilst they look quite glittery and shimmery in the palette, they have a soft and subtle finish when seamlessly blended onto the skin, whereever you use them. I have found that when you spray your skin with one of Pixi Beauty’s mists then dust on the product, you do create a more intense look that I feel looks fantastic. The bronze shades over a tan look divine.

The swatches are stunning but I actually don’t think that they do the powders justice. I did share a sneak peek on Instagram Stories with the swatches catching they light and they are so subtle but have such an incredible glow that it’s really hard to pick up on a still. Hopefully you can see from the pictures below just how beautiful they are.

The shades range from ice white, pearlescent pinks, champagne golds and rich deep plums. It’s truly a universal palette for all. One of the great things about Pixi Beauty is that they do incorporate skincare into their makeup products so the powders are all enriched with Vitamin E to nourish and enrich the skin and emollients to keep the skin smooth and hydrated.

When using them as eyeshadows, using your finger is much more preferable but they do pick up well with a synthetic eyeshadow brush. The ice white shade looks incredible as an inner corner highlight and the bronzey shade (bottom centre) is a gorge shade for over my shoulders and décolletage.

The Pixi x Denise palette is going to be one of my go-to’s. I am absolutely head over heels for it and it’s multi use powders that make me glow like a goddess. I just don’t know what it is about highlighters, but I am obsessed with them so Pixi x Denise has definitely won me over!
