Hello my lovers and welcome to another instalment of things you never knew you needed from Bobbi Brown. It’s been a fun stretch over the last few months of being a brand ambassador and I’ve discovered products that I never would have usually thought of trying. For June, my top three Bobbi Brown favourites cover all bases; skin, eyes and lips and include a product that has me in awe with it’s skin loving properties. I’ve also heard on the grapevine that there’s a new drop for summer coming so I hope I can get to share this with you soon.

Working from home does have it’s advantages. I did start with all good intentions but now, I love my colleagues so deeply that I don’t care if they see me with greasy hair and no makeup. Things are changing and an office based role is getting closer and closer in site so I have started to put makeup on in a morning again. I still want easy peasy so the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Sticks are my best friend right now. I’m on a mission to get them all because they are bloody brilliant. My latest shade is Nude Beach; a greyish taupe with a hint of a shimmer. This shade gives me life. It’s one of those shades where on my skin tone I know I have eye makeup on but it’s that natural and smoothed out lid and with a little bit of Bark smudged into the lash line I look done up but not overly done up. It’s a great shade, and like the others the formulation means that it dries down and stays in place, it doesn’t smudge and although I do need some primer for my oily lids I don’t have any product collecting in my creases during the day.

I’m bringing lipstick back after months of wearing balms but I am not quite ready to get back into the heavy lipstick life. Luckily Bobbi Brown have answered some prayers with the Crushed Liquid Lips. The longevity of a liquid lip, combined with a balm like texture and gloss finish. They’re a little bit fabulous. I went for my signature colour In A Jam; a deep blue rose/mauve shade. It’s ultra flattering against my skin tone as well as being really nourishing and hydrating. Wear time is good – it’s gotten me through several cups of tea but I am just happy that it gives me the soothing comfort of a lip balm with a pop of colour.

I have raved and raved over the Bobbi Brown skincare and I never imagined that a brand that I linked solely to makeup could create some of the best skincare I have tried. The Extra range has given me the moisture and hydration that I have needed throughout the last few months and I’ve got the majority of the skin collection on my dressing table. One of the products that I am really enjoying using is the Bobbi Brown Extra Face Oil. Vitamin E, sesame, sweet almond, olive and jojoba oils with the signature Bobbi Brown skincare fragrance. My only downside is due to the packaging, I end up being a bit liberal with over applying but oh my days, my skin feels so good right now. I don’t need to use the Extra range as often as I did in the colder months but it has given me so much more hydration and I’ve really seen a difference in how my skin is behaving and responding to products.
