It’s been very Bobbi Brown heavy this last month as there have been so many products that I have been wanting to share with you, but I think this post is the one I have been looking forward to the most. As you know, I am a brand ambassador for Bobbi Brown so I get to choose products that I really want to try or add to my collection. With the buzz of the 21st June on everyone’s mind, I had to pick products this month that would be perfect for going out and celebrating my freedom with my friends. I’m getting exciting just thinking of the prospect. Roll on the 21st June and let me show you what will be going on my face that day.

After taking a much more proactive focus on my skincare, I’m really pleased to see how my skin looks and behaves these days and a lot of the credit goes to the Bobbi Brown skincare products that I have incorporated into my daily routine. The toner and Extra Repair Serum have really made a huge difference and I absolutely love them. As my skin is behaving so well, I feel confident in myself enough that I should be able to wear a sheerer foundation during the warmer months. Whatever foundation I wear, I will be using the Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm in Bare Glow underneath. The skin boosting balm is packed full of pearlescent and light reflecting particles to revive the skins complexion and give a natural, radiant glow. It’s an incredible product and I’ve been wearing it under foundation and alone on no makeup days for a glowy fresh look. It has a great way of giving you that wide awake, youthful look.

I heard on the grapevine that Bobbi Brown had an eyeshadow that was very similar to one of my all time favourite shadows; the Victoria Beckham Eye Metals in Bitter Clove which has been discontinued. The Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eye Shadow in Allspice is an almost exact match, and very easy to get hold of. At £26, it’s also a fraction of the price but the quality is exceptional. Allspice is a rich, dark brown with pearl and glitter pigments. What I love about shadows like this is that they make life so simple. A quick slick across the eyelid with either a brush or your finger, and buff out to blend. I always prime my eyes prior as I have oily lids but my goodness, this is the epitome of of a sexy eye in seconds that lasts all day. I’m going to get Cement next as I think this will be a great shade for day to day wear.

Finally, and I think you will be very shocked by this display of colour but I have chosen a super bright lipstick. Yes, me. The connoisseur of a nude lip has picked the most beautiful, bright lip colour and it makes me so happy just looking at it! The Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Colour in Pink Guava is the happiest shade of lipstick. Described as a pink tangerine shade, I think it’s just so pretty. I can’t wait to get outside and start wearing lipstick without worrying about a mask!
