Fenty Skin… Is it a Win?
Spoiler Alert – I do love me some Fenty. I don’t think I’ve ever been so enthralled by a brand before and the more I look at the amount of products I have in my house, I’m starting to think that our Rhi Rhi is going to have to release more products as I’m close to owning everything. First came Fenty Beauty and I went in and I went in hard. Then came along Fenty Skin. I’m always going to be the makeup girl more than the skincare girl but oh my days, have I found products that are just fantastic. I think my main love for Fenty is because the goal is to enhance what we already have to the ranges are concise yet well thought out with focuses on results and natural beauty. Since Fenty Skin launched they are now up to a grand total of just six products. Six. I can’t even tell you how happy this makes me to have a collection that doesn’t leave you confused with the amount of choice.

Starting in the best place with any skincare – the Fenty Skin Starter Kit from Boots. At £32 for three deluxe sample sizes of the cleanser, toner serum and moisturiser, I picked mine up when there was a 20% offer and I’ve managed to get a really good feel for the products before splurging on the full sizes. I’ve actually told myself that I am allowed to buy the full sizes as soon as I empty a sample size. Gorgeous sleek packaging in the signature lilac hued cases, Fenty Skin is now easily recognisable and stands out, whilst also looking cute on your bathroom shelf.
Fenty Skin Total Cleans’r Remove It All Cleanser
At £20 for a full size or £12 for the 45ml (the same size as in the starter kit), I would definitely recommend you start your Fenty Skin journey with this beaut of a cleanser. Even if I might skip some steps in my skincare routine, I always ensure that my face is squeaky clean and rid of any dirt, grime and excess oils. It’s not called Remove It All for no reason. With a scent of Bajan cherries and coconut, the pale orange cleanser transforms into a creamy lather on the damp skin that gives a luxurirous cleanse without stripping or drying out your face. The Barbados Cherry contains antioxidants, whilst the formulation is oil free and helps purify pores leaving shine at bay. I love the packaging with the twist top tube to dispense your product, and a little does go a long way. I’m almost out of my 45ml so next stop is the 145ml. The cleanser can be used both morning and night but I do find that I use this mainly in the morning.
Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore Refining Toner Serum
Well, this is an absolute dream isn’t it? Like nothing I have every tried before, Fat Water has given me the benefits of a toner and serum in one, as well as gorgeous glowing skin. The texture is unique, and feels just like the name. It’s fat water and it absorbs on the skin with ease. Intended to target pores, improve dark spots and improve texture, it also reduces shine and oil and makes you look fresh. The same Bajan cherry scent combined with sun kissed fig is just delicious and I could bathe in it. My skin feels so juicy and nourished, ready to take on my next skincare step. I’ve honestly never found a product like this before and I think this will be a keeper. The deluxe size from the starter set is 50ml and considering that I’m using is daily, it’s lasted quite well and is just about on it’s last legs. I’m not wasting any product as I’m dispensing it straight into my hand to press into my skin rather than using a cotton pad.
Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturiser SPF30
A 2 in 1 Sunscreen and Moisturiser, the Hydra Vizor is a lightweight, ultra hydrating oil free cream that gives SPF30 protection with zero white cast, no flashback or any pilling when applying further products over the top. Could you ask for anything more? A truly lovely cream that I have been using alongside the delight that is Eaze Drops (more on those soon) and I’ve found that my skin just drinks it up. Pink tinted when dispensed, Hydra Vizor has zero chalkiness and absorbs in seconds for velvety smooth skin. The melon scent of the cream is divine and I’m prepped and ready for makeup in moments. Non comedogenic, and does not contain oxybenzone or octinoxate. With the starter kit, a 30ml bottle whilst the full sized is 50ml. Once you’ve bought your full sized Hydra Vizor, you can simply buy the refills in future, saving on packaging and doing your bit for the eco system.
Fenty Skin Flash Nap Instant Revival Eye Gel-Cream with Massage Tool*
I was lucky enough to attend the virtual launch for the Fenty Flash Nap with brand ambassador Sean Garrette to learn all about the product and swoon over Sean’s flawless skin. I was sent the product prior to the launch and I have been using it frequently over the last few months. I’m getting better at remembering to use eye cream but the one tool that actually makes me remember to use it is the Fenty Skin Massage Tool. Who would have thought that this tiny roller would be the one to make me change my ways. Flash Nap is a concealer, primer and eye cream in one and works to awaken tired skin, plump and refresh and depuff those dark circles. Lightweight, non greasy and cooling, the gel cream really brightens your under eye area. I love the massage tool and in a morning, it’s nothing short of heaven to wake you up and banish the eye bags. The scent is inspired by tropical flowers and fruits and Flash Nap is not just an eye cream, it’s a joyous experience.
Do I think Fenty Skin is a win? Yes, yes I do. Every single product I have tried is doing it’s job and working on my skin. My skin is in such a good way right now and whilst I can’t pinpoint a specific product, I know it’s a combination of all the goodness from each piece of Fenty I own.
It’s definitely time to start getting the full sizes to replace my deluxe sample sizes. I also really want to try the Fenty Skin Instant Reset Overnight Recovery Gel-Cream so I might put that on my wishlist too!
