I’m really pleased to be sharing the Dear Dahlia Mesmerizing Moment collection with you today as it’s a new brand for me and I’ve been really impressed with what I have seen from the products. It’s the perfect aesthetic with it’s luxurious packaging of marble and rose gold accents as well as being vegan friendly and cruelty free. Inspired by the Dahlia flower, known for it’s timeless elegance and beauty, the brand has created a stunning collection of high performance makeup with sublime ingredients. The Mesmerizing Moment collection is simply stunning and I’m so pleased that I’ve been able to try these party season must haves from Dear Dahlia.

Dear Dahlia Mesmerizing Moment Palette

Oh what a beautiful palette this is. The Dear Dahlia Mesmerizing Moment palette is a really good sized palette for on the go, and the packaging is really sturdy. Although made of cardboard, it feels more plastic so I wouldn’t have any worries about keeping it in my work handbag. It opens up to an interior mirror, eight shades and a handy mini eyeshadow brush. I have the palette Celestial Glow which is a range of 3 matte shades and five sparkle shades in a mix of cool and warm toned coppers, bronzes and browns.

It’s a perfect palette for me as these are the shades I wear frequently and everyone loves a bit of sparkle. There is a little bit of fallout from the sparkles but nothing major and they are really pigmented. I was more than surprised with how pigmented they were as it’s my first time trying the brand. They not only apply well from the palette to the skin using your finger but they pick up easily on a brush and blend out really well. I cannot wait try more.

Longevity wise, I am getting a good wear time of around 8 hours with minimal creasing which makes me very happy indeed, and as always a good eye primer will help extend the wear time. Bring on that Christmas party!

Dear Dahlia Paradise Shine Eye Sequins

Things that Anoushka loves to wear: Glitter. Introducing the Paradise Shine Eye Sequins to my eye glitz collection and wow, these are right up my street. In a range of six shades from silver iridescence to deep bronze, these beautiful eye toppers are a must for party season. The formulation reminds me of the Stila Glitter and Glows in that they have a multi faceted shine from the pearl and glitters suspended within the base colours. This means that whatever way you look, the light hits just right for maximum sparkle and shine.

I find that the best way to use these is to use a flat shade brush to pack on the colour without the need to keep swiping over on your lid. The water based liquid formula does have a tendency to sting if you use too much. You can also use a liner brush to add some fun to your cat wings. I think Muse has to be my favourite of the three.

I am so impressed with what I have seen so far so naturally I need to increase my makeup collection by trying absolutely everything that Dear Dahlia has to offer.
