2022 has seen several new additions to the Pillow Talk range and of course, I got them all. However, I was not expecting the launch of the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk face palette and when I saw it online, it was purchased quicker than you could say ‘gimme gimme’. The face palettes are limited edition and seem to be brought out infrequently but this in the third palette in the series, the others being Glowgasm, Nudegasm and now Pillow Talk.

The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk face palette is one of the most beautiful palettes that Tilbury has ever launched. The iconic Pillow Talk shade is universally flattering and the palette comes in Fair/Medium and Medium/Deep ensuring all tones are covered. A beautifying Blush and Glow palette, this will be your handbag essential this holiday season.

Usually, I tend to go for the more Medium to Deep options as I have olive undertones and darker shades suit me more but I did get the Fair to Medium after much deliberation. I’m actually pleased that I did as the shades work beautifully on my skin. This would suit everyone as the depth of the shades and the pigment pulls through really well.

The Shades

  • SOFT BLUSH: Cool pink matte blush
  • SUPER GLOW: Warm glow highlighter
  • SUPER BLUSH: Peach-pink matte blush
  • MULTI-GLOW: Rose gold highlighter

If you did get the limited edition Pillow Talk Multi Glow in Romance Light, then you will have a duplicate shade but it’s actually nicer to have a standalone shade of this highlighter. As much as I love the Multi Glows, I do tend to swirl them around in one rather than use one colour from the five within.

The formulation feels more like a gel powder and I do find that they apply quite sheer but can be built up with ease. They are really longwearing and as the blushes are pink, I did find that they gripped on the skin really well. It’s worth noting that whilst the highlight shades in the palette can be used on eyes, it is recommended to avoid placing the blush shades around the immediate eye area.

As always, the packaging is beautiful and the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk face palette outer pays homage to the Mother of Pearl pigments that can be found in the glow formula of the powders inside.

It retails for £60 and I do hope that they keep it as part of the permanent line as I am still debating on getting the Medium to Deep version.
