Since using Ole Henriksen, I attribute my behaving complexion to the powers of the Ole Henriksen Transform range. All of the products within the Transform range are designed to used natural acids to smooth and retexture the skin, and give the signature Ole Glow. I think with the addition of the below products, the entire Transform range is present in my house, and I’m not mad about it. I know that with each one of the Transform products I am getting quality, with a product that works and makes my skin look the best it has ever been. If you haven’t read my previous Transform products posts, you can find them on the Transform Sheer Perfecting Moisturiser, Transform Plus Retin-ALT products and the wonderful and life changing Dewtopia.

Ole Henriksen Transform - Easy Acid Additions

Ole Henriksen Transform Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner

I’ve really started to appreciate toners lately and the ones with acid within the formulation have been high on my list. The Glow2OH toner is supercharged with glycolic and lactic acid alongside witch hazel, Sandalwood, chamomile and liquorice extracts. It has been claimed that the toner can reduce dark spots in as little as 7 days. As I don’t have any dark spots, I cannot confirm but what I can say it that I had a travel sized bottle to try and I had to get the full sized as soon as I could. It has that delicious lemon zesty scent like Dewtopia and gives skin a little tingle when applied. What I have seen is smoother, softer and more refined looking skin. I must also add that whilst this is working it’s magic, my skin has started to change and under skin started to appear. Perseverance is key as they did disappear after a while. Keep an eye on Boots as the super sized bottle does often go into the £10 offers quite frequently.

Ole Henriksen Transform Lemonade Smoothing Scrub

I don’t usually like scrubs as I find them to be a little too harsh for my skin. I wasn’t sure on the Lemonade Smoothing Scrub when I first tried it, as I found it hard to rinse away but I saw one of my friends say that they use it when in the shower. I tried it and I was hooked. It makes such a difference being able to rinse the product off in the shower than trying to remove all residue over the sink. Back to the scrub itself though and this is a brilliant one to wake you up in the morning. That delicious fresh zesty lemon scent is packed into the sugar scrub (no microbeads here) and I use this around twice a week to remove any dull and rough skin. I also use a little on my areas of KP and it’s helped massively. Highly potent AHAs lift dead skin, whilst lemon peel powder and sugar exfoliant sweeps it away. I do wish it wasn’t called a scrub as it’s not as abrasive as it sounds. It’s is actually quite calming on the skin and I don’t get any redness or irritation after use. I love it and it works so well.

Ole Henriksen Phat Facial

We all know about AHAs and BHAs but PHAs are quite the new addition to skincare and one that’s not very well known to me. I think I’ve only used one other skincare product with PHA before Phat Facial. PHAs are so good for your skin. They not only helps with skin perfecting and age fighting but as they are good fats, they make skin lovely and plump. Remind me not to use it anywhere else, I’m plump enough! PHAs don’t go as deep into the skin so they exfoliate whilst plumping. This at home facial is the one. You all need one. I am using mine way too much as I just love how my skin looks afterwards. Pink in colour when dispensed, it turns white on the skin. Leave for 15 minutes and rinse off to reveal glowing, smooth and illuminated skin that looks like you could be using a filter. It’s immense. It’s another product of Ole’s that does often go into the Boots £10 offer so it’s definitely worth stocking up. I need a stockpile, as I don’t think I’ll ever not use this now.

Ole Henriksen Wrinkle Blur Bakuchiol Eye Gel Crème

Another new-ish launch from Ole Henriksen Transform range, the Wrinkle Blur eye cream contains the wonder ingredient Bakuchiol. I’ve been enjoying this all natural ingredient that works to improve skin tone and discoloration. Wrinkle Blur is rich and creamy and feels soothing on the skin. It definitely blurs so I like to use it in a morning before makeup as it gives a really good base to work on. Dark circles are instantly disguised and the tone of my lids is definitely looking less red than before.
