Ole Henriksen Truth Range
I seem to have developed a crush. It’s juicy and I really how it makes me feel. My crush – Ole Henriksen and the object of my desire is the Truth range. I’ve been trying so many product from Ole Henriksen lately and I’m finding that I’ve not yet come across anything that doesn’t work for me so far. I have to say though, that out of the ranges that I have tried from the brand, the Ole Henriksen Truth range has shot up to the top of my list and my skin is looking more glowy than ever.
I’ve already been using the Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Primer and Banana Bright Eye Cream for quite some time and I really wanted to try the rest of the range. With Ole Henriksen, one of the great things that they have to offer are the sets which are at a brilliant price point with decent deluxe sized products so you can really see if they work for you before investing in the full size. In the Ole Henriksen Let’s get Luminous Brightening Set, which is a complete bargain at £32, you get a 35ml tub of the C-Rush Brightening Gel Cream, a 15ml Truth Serum and a 7ml Banana Bright Eye Cream.
I’ve been using these in conjunction with the Ole Henriksen Truth Juice Daily Cleanser, which is amazing in a morning to wake you up. The scent is so fresh that it really energises and invigorates you, and the silky gel creme texture gives a really good clean. You can use it at night as it will work to rid your skin of any makeup but I do love my Ole Henriksen WonderFeel for the evening cleanse. In a morning though, Truth Juice is just what you need to perk you up and set you up for the day.
The one product that I had been dying to try was the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum. I have been using Drunk Elephant C-Firma exclusively for my Vitamin C needs but after finding some negatives, I wanted to switch to a new brand. Whilst they are comparable, the differences are minimal in the product. Whilst Drunk Elephant is scentless, Truth Serum has a fresh citrus scent. At the moment, it is still too early to say if there is a huge difference in results from using Truth Serum after C-Firma, but I really do like how it makes my skin feel. I also have noticed that if I use this of an evening, it doesn’t stain my pillows yellow – hallelujah.
I’m going through moisturiser at a rate of knots at the moment, especially with this drier weather and hydration is the key for me at the moment. The Ole Henriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme is really working wonders. Not only does it have the brightening and anti oxidant effects of Vitamin C but it also has a 24 hour hydration promise. It works wonders in a morning and the uplifting citrus scent is delicious. Peach coloured cream sinks into the skin in moments, to leave skin soft, supple and healthy. Combined with Truth Serum, my skin looks so healthy and it also makes a great base for makeup.
The Ole Henriksen sets that they have in Boots are brilliant ways for you to try the brand and if you keep an eye out, some keep going on Star Gifts where they are really good prices such as the Ole Henriksen Daily Juice Brightening Set which is now £25 and contains a full sized Truth Juice Cleanser worth £22.
