When I used to visit Miami with work, we always used to have mini kits in the hotel room, provided by Templespa. They contained three samples of products, all designed to aid a good night’s rest in the biggest fluffiest bed that I’ve ever been in. Although I was never a huge fan of Miami, I could never wait to arrive to the hotel, simply for the Temple Spa goodies. My post flight ritual was to have a intensely hot shower, followed by a a deep cleansing face wash and mask, before applying the the creams and sprays from the kit and getting into bed to watch episode after episode of Catfish. I’m quite basic when it comes to relaxing. After I gave up flying, I knew I couldn’t give up my three wonderful products from Templespa, so they now live at my house in their full size glory; Quietude, Repose and Aaahhh!
After everything that has gone on in my life over the last few months, I have realised that I can get through the day as long as I have had a good nights sleep. I have recently turned to aromatherapy as an alternative medicine, and I have been utilising essential oils to help reduce my anxiety, relax my mind and eliminate stress. Using a pillow and room spray has helped immensely, and Templespa Quietude has really helped in aiding a peaceful nights sleep, as well as bringing a sense of calm to my bedroom. A relaxing blend of Mediterranean essential oils of cedar wood, cypress, lavender, clove, vetivert, orange, patchouli, frankincense and chamomile combine to create a truly zen atmosphere. I spray Quietude liberally around my bedroom, but concentrating the mist around my bed and on my pillows and each night, I drift off with aromas enveloping me. It’s a little slice of heaven.
After a long day of walking across the Atlantic, I used to relish in the thought of Templespa AAAHHH! After my muscles were crying out for some relief, AAAHHH! has always been a perfect way to calm, cool and soothe tired and achy legs. Starting at the feet and working my way up my legs, massaging in the balm like texture, the blend of peppermint, clove, lavender, black pepper & clary make me legs feel all tingly and cold until my muscles sink into a state of tranquillity. I’ve also been using it across my back, instead of using a deep heat and it has helped in easing pain. It’s great for legs with the dandelion extract as it helps with fluid retention and puffiness, which, for a seasoned flyer, was perfect to help reduce swollen ankles.
For a perfect end to a relaxation pamper session, Templespa Repose is one of the most beautiful creams that I have used. It’s an aromatherapy resting cream, filled with hops valerian, chamomile, frankincense, lavender, patchouli, geranium, bitter orange and clary essential oils with aid a restful nights sleep as well as giving my skin the nourishment it needs overnight. It feels like silk when patted into my skin, and although it’s not as rich as the Templespa Skin Truffle, it feels like it’s refreshing and soothing my skin, rather than giving it a deep hydration. I don’t tend to use Repose each night as I like something a bit richer most evenings, but when I want a deep sleep, it’s the first pot that I reach for. I also like to give my hands a quick rub over with the excess after using it on my face so the scent is surrounding me whilst I’m in bed.
