Ponds Institute Skin Care Range plus Giveaway!
Hello lovely people! I hope you had a lovely weekend and that today shapes up to be a good Monday. It’s absolutely freezing at the moment and this cold chill outside combined with the central heating being on is playing havoc with my skin. Not only have I been moisturising in the morning and evening, but on those days that I have stayed indoors sans make up, I have been adding an extra layer of cream during the day. Now, I have a massive amount of luxe skin care but sometimes, I have to take it back to the classic skincare that has been used for many many years and that of course is the Ponds Institute Skin Care Range.
The Ponds Institute Skin Care Range is made up of five items that include three moisturisers, an eye cream and one of my iconic products, the cold cream cleanser. I have been using this cleanser on and off for years and my first foray into the Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser was first introduced to me back in school when I was taking to the stage as a budding actress. Stage make up was a nightmare to get off and Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser just cuts through the thick makeup and dissolves it off your face whilst leaving your skin soft and smooth. No wonder it has been around for a million years.
I’ve also been slapping on the Hydro Nourishing Cream like there is no tomorrow. It’s not as rich as my evening moisturiser, the Esteé Lauder Revitalising Supreme but it is thicker than my morning GinZing and it is keeping my skin hydrated and supple throughout the day. Over the last few weeks, there have been more none make up days than usual as I’ve been taking advantage of the break from heavy make up. It has been lovely to apply a mid afternoon moisture surge.
The eye contour cream contains vitamin E and pro – vitamin B5 to help soften and nourish the delicate eye area and feels wonderfully refreshing on the eye area. Whilst I’ve been using my cold cream cleanser and hydro nourishing moisturiser, I’ve let my lovely Mamma take advantage of two new moisturisers; the nourishing anti-wrinkle and triple action moisturiser. Both creams are aimed towards mature skin and focus on firming skin whilst looking after those lines and wrinkles. I’ve been hearing very good feedback from Mamma who has noticed that her skin is feeling a lot more supple and nourished.
As it’s Monday, I thought we should start the week off with a little giveaway. You can win the full range of skincare as well as an exclusive washbag by Lucy Lilibet by entering my Rafflecopter giveaway. The rules are simple. It is open to UK residents only, and you must be 16 or over to enter.
