I’m having a little love affair with the majority of products from the Marc Jacobs Beauty range. The Genius Gel foundation is one of my most used, I adore the nail varnishes and absolutely love my Happy Ending lipstick. As well as lusting over the gorgeous make up brushes, I had been lusting after the Marc Jacobs bronzer, until it just fell into my shopping basket.
The Marc Jacobs Bronzer is just gorgeous. Encased in gorgeous glossy black packaging, the bronzer is absolutely huge. Its a little bit too big to carry around in your handbag but the mirror inside is just perfect for applying your make up, whether it be a full face or a touch up. I’ve been taking it away on trips with me and it has been surviving the long haul with no damage or breakage. The powder itself is a beautiful tan matte finish and the colour is perfect for adding a sun kissed glow, and matte enough to use after contouring to define certain areas of your face. I have 02- Tantric, however I don’t think they do a 01 colour. For my medium skin tone the colour is just right. I also think it would suit a lighter skin tone as the colour can be applied very lightly and built up to the desired effect.
By way of longevity, I’m really pleased the amount of time that it lasts on me. I managed to get a good 7 hours of wear from the Marc Jacobs Bronzer before having to reapply. I’ve been using the Crown Brush Syntho Flat Bronzer for application and it’s one of the easiest brushes to use that concentrates the colour in the right place without leaving any muddy looking patches. The softness of the bristles picks up the right amount of product and diffuses it across my face easily.
The Marc Jacobs Bronzer is $49 and available from Sephora where International Shipping is also available. Have you tried any of the Marc Jacobs Beauty products?
