28 Days of Lipstick: Day Nineteen | MAC Lady Danger

Oh look! Another bright, bold opaque lipstick in my collection. I really do have a problem don’t I! I promise I will mix it up in the next few days, but I’m sure you can tell now that I really don’t do nude lips. A statement lip is just so me! MAC Lady Danger is a perfect colour that I find myself wearing most whilst I wear my glasses. As I wear such heavy black frames, I find that the boldness and extroverted colour of Lady Danger works perfectly to jazz up what could be a boring make up day.

MAC Lady Danger Lipstick

MAC Lady Danger is described as a vivid, bright coral-red, with a matte finish. Its is more on the orange side of red and it is so vibrant that I took me a few attempts when I first got it to get used to it. The matte formula seems to err on the side of drying and does cling to any dry bits but it is more on the creamy side of the matte formula rather than the chalky. As per, prep and prime before wearing! It is amazing for longevity, I get about 6 hours out of Lady Danger before having to reapply and even when it starts to wear off, the colour leaves a stain on your lips. Its certainly a lipstick to stand out, and I love to wear colours like this when I wear my glasses as I feel that it balances my face out!
