My MAC eyeshadow collection

Last week I posted about how to depot your mac eyeshadows as I had purchased a large double palette and two refills to put inside. I was hoping that the palette would help me step outside of my comfort zone and start wearing some of the brighter colours, as I often forget them when they are in my make up box. It’s working, I’m wearing purples and greens and loving it!

So, i thought I’d show you exactly what shadows I have in my collection and then we can ponder on which three shadows to choose to fill up the gaps!

I’ve separated my shadows into brights and neutrals. Some of these shadows are limited editions or may have been discontinued.

Ooh it’s so beautiful. I just love looking at it. Two of my favourite colours are Juxt and Swish. I use these when recreating the Barbie Loves Mac look.

I also love Marvel and Rani, which were limited editions from the Mickey Contractor range from 2011. Rani glides on like melted butter, it’s the softest and silkiest shadow I’ve ever used.

Cranberry is my favourite autumn/winter colour. I wear this every Christmas Day without fail. I love to blend it out with NARS Galapagos for a seriously smokey eye, or use it with Naked Lunch as a sophisticated daytime look.

Here come the nudes!

As you can see, Paradisco and All That Glitters are the most used. I like to use Paradisco on top of Let Me Pop paint pot and blend it out with Omega. Naked Lunch and Soft Force are brilliant highlighters and are great for the inner corner of your eye. Carbon is amazing for a heavy black smoky eye, again blended out with Omega.

As you can see, I have three gaps. What do you think I should fill them with? I’m thinking I need some more browns.

Finally, here’s my baby 4 palette. This again was from the Mickey Contractor range, and the palette is called Athma. Jaan and Vivah are limited shadows however Folie and Carbon are part of the permanent line. I love Folie, as its a beautiful red toned brown.

Do you have any MAC palettes? Does it make you feel ill, when you mentally calculate how much yours cost? Please leave me a comment, I answer them all!

Love Anoushka xx
