Introducing my Raymond Weil Timepiece

When it comes to fashion, I’m very much a high street girl who favours to shop frequently and to keep up with current trends. I’m also that person who likes to invest in classic pieces that survive the decades and can be pulled out of the wardrobe at any given time. When it comes to high end, luxury and premium items, it’s not very often where I am in the position to be able to invest and I end up spending money on items like my Jimmy Choos which I’m now unable to wear as I struggle in heels. Now I’m getting older, an investment piece doesn’t necessarily mean having the latest handbag or the newest trainers. An investment to me means so much more. It’s something that will never go out of style. A piece that I won’t need to sell in future to use the funds to spend on the next latest piece. I have been incredibly lucky to work with an incredible brand that has a wonderful history; Raymond Weil.

Pinch me moments don’t happen very often but when I found out that I was being gifted a Raymond Weil watch, I burst into tears. Although I have quite an extensive watch collection, my Raymond Weil watch has taken this to the next level. I chose the classic Tango watch, the embodiment of Raymond Weil. The Tango is known for it’s signature stainless steel bezel and six screws around the outer face. I opted for the diamond option, naturally, with it’s mother of pearl dial and 8 diamonds around the face. When I went to pick it up, I was shaking as I still couldn’t believe that I was the new owner of this beautiful, beautiful timepiece. Since I took delivery of my watch., it hasn’t been off my wrist. I just love it so so much.

As a wearer of an expensive timepiece, certain thoughts flash through my mind. What if the bracelet opens and I lose it? What if I scratch the steel or worse, the face? Luckily, my mind is at ease at the moment as my watch has a duo fastening style bracelet which means its very secure on my wrist. I also find that although it has been subjected to a lot of wear so far, there is not a single blemish on the strap or face due to the resilient and solid materials used. It’s quite something as a watch amateur to see those issues that I’ve had with cheaper watches being outcast due to how well made my Tango is.

Raymond Weil have been around since 1976, and developed their brand during a watch industry crisis. Mr Raymond Weil took his vision of what Swiss watchmaking should be to create timepieces that would bring a new outlook to the industry. The creations made have made such a stamp on the industry for not only being incredibly well put together but having unique and aesthetically pleased designs. As the years have passed, the technology used to create each Raymond Weil watch has increased, making Raymond Weil one of the most sought after brands within the watch market.

I wear my Raymond Weil each day with pride and happiness. Each time I look at my wrist, it just reminds me how lucky I am to have such a wonderful timepiece that I will own for many, many years to come. It truly is a privilege to be able to work with a brand such as Raymond Weil and I am truly grateful for my opportunity to be able to share my Tango Diamond Dot.
