How To Build Your Confidence Before A Date
How To Build Your Confidence Before A Date
Ah, dates. They can be a little bit scary, can’t they? You are trying to get to know someone and let them get to know you without giving too much of you away. While many dates lead to nighing, one day, that date might lead to you meeting ‘the one’. That is not a daunting thought at all, is it? It is little wonder that most of us feel some sort of pre-jitters on the lead up to a date, especially if it as a first date, even if you generally consider yourself a confident woman. This is pretty common, in fact, it’s normal – but if you are too nervous, you run the risk of spoiling your evening.
While sometimes it is a case of faking the confidence, here are a few tips to help you feel more confident.

Improve your Body Image
Sometimes you may feel a little self-conscious about yourself when you’re going on a date. You have to understand that this is completely normal, but there are things that you can do to stop those negative thoughts from ruining your experience. One of the many things that you can do include putting in some nice earrings or even wearing your best perfume. In fact, many people turn to sex pheromones to improve their body confidence. This can be sprayed like perfume to attract people to you, which is a great confidence boost! Botox might also be an option, if you feel as though your skin is wrinkled or not as youthful as it once was.
Dress To Impress
We don’t mean dressing to impress your date, but dressing to impress you. Of course, you want to make an excellent first impression, but you also want to wear something that you are comfortable in and makes you feel good. If you are not usually a heels kind of gal, don’t attempt to wear a pair of 5-inch strappy sandals – you will look and feel very uncomfortable! However, while all the dating advice websites and women’s magazines tell you to dress conservatively, we say to hell with that. If you have a fabulous cleavage and like to flaunt it, go ahead. If you have the perfect set of pins and want to wear that mini skirt, wear it. If you feel good, you will look good and ooze with confidence. Another little trick is to wear some womens sexy underwear under your outfit. You might not be planning on letting your date see it yet, but knowing what is under your clothes can be very empowering!
Don’t plan too much
You need to plan where you are meeting and at what time, but try not to plan the whole date down to the details. It takes the fun out of it if every minute is micromanaged. If you go out to a restaurant, you might end up in a bar if things are going great, or for a walk. Don’t plan the conversation too much either; have some topics and questions in your head just in case the conversation becomes a little stilted, but it is always best to go with the flow a little bit unless it makes you feel uncomfortable.
Don’t over analyze
One of the worst things that you can do after a date, whether it well or was a complete disaster, is to analyze it. You will begin to pick on every little detail and drive yourself crazy. Plan something fun to do the day after the date – a session in the gym or a coffee date with your best friend. It will help you to keep your mind off it and stop you checking your phone every ten seconds to see if they have called or messaged.
