It’s becoming a Christmas tradition and one that I have no intention of stopping. Since around 2014, I have been treating myself to one of the limited edition Too Faced Christmas sets and the palette of the year. Last year I got the Cookie House and the Gingerbread Extra Spicy. Weirdly, I didn’t get any blog posts up so I must have been preoccupied however the previous years I made up for it. Whilst I love the limited editions, such as La Belle Carousel, Grand Palais and the Grand Hotel Cafe, I have preferred the standalone palettes such as Too Faced Gingerbread over the last few years. This year, it was a no brainer and I grabbed the Too Faced Pumpkin Spice palette over the Black Friday weekend and I am so glad I did. It impressed me that much, I uploaded my very first IGTV!

As with all the previous standalone palettes, Too Faced Pumpkin Spice is housed in the signature metal case, with a large mirror inside with 18 eyeshadow shades. I adore this palette. The colours, the glitters and shimmers, it’s quite simply dreamy and I am living. It’s geared around Autumn, and evokes the memories of crisp leaves underfoot, a cold chill in the air and the cosiness of the season. I didn’t get chance to even get a PSL this autumn but this palette more than makes up for it. There are enough shades to be able to create numerous looks whether it’s for a subtle daytime look or a more dramatic evening look, or if you are anything like me an intense Friday afternoon look. Brights, neutrals and smokey shades, with pops of violets, golds and oranges.

Each shade name has cute autumnal inspired names such as Fall Vibes: a gold glitter shimmer, PSL and Chill; a violet shimmer and Pumpkin Spice; a vibrant yellow orange that I have fallen in love with. Crisp, Fall For It, Al a Mode and Oh My Gourd are my pale pink hued daytime shades whilst Spice Spice Baby and Cocoa Dreams are giving me all the smokey feels.

As you can see from the swatches, the pigmentation is intense with no shadow under performing. What I have noticed as the years have passed is that the quality of the product is getting better and better and the intense colours are causing quite the commotion. I did pass comment with the shimmer shades as usually I would create a cut crease to ensure ultimate impact but I have had no need to as the quality is so good. As with all Too Faced products, they are cruelty free formulations.
