Shrine Glitters
It’s about this time of year that I would be gearing up and heading off to some fantastic events but in light of 2020 and it being an absolute let down, I have had to play dress up in the comfort of my own home. The biggest event of the year would have been Manchester Pride where I would be out for three days covered in Shrine glitters and heading home in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday wondering just how long it’s going to take to hoover the glitter remnants from my carpet. One thing is for certain – I’ll be able to remove the glitter from my face with ease thanks to Shrine.
I stocked up on Shrine glitters earlier this year for a ‘just in case’ scenario and added 15 new tubs of multi coloured glitter goodness to my stash. At the moment, these glitters which usually retail at £7 a tub are currently on sale for £1.95 so if you do feel that you’re going to make good use of them, I would suggest stocking up now!
One of the key products that any glitter wearer should be taking advantage of is the Shrine Peel Off Glue. I have spoken about this previously and it has been a god send when it comes to taking off the fabulous glitter designs you have created. Using a flat synthetic brush to brush the glue onto the areas that you wish to place the glitter, you can pack on the glitter and leave it to set. It is guaranteed that the glitter will not budge through several hours of partying. The glue is formulated from a face mask so after you have removed the glue, your skin feels lovely and silky soft. The best part of the glue for me is just how easy it is to peel it off when you get home, taking all the glitter with it and making it so easy to peel and dispose without having to pick numerous bits of glitter from your face. The one thing that I do advise is making sure it goes nowhere near your brows or in your hair because it hurts when peeling it off.
I took advantage of topping up on some of my favourite glitter pots such as the pink iridescent glitter and the dark unicorn glitter which is stunning. I feel that as we should be heading to Pride in the next two weeks, I might have to spend some time doing some festival glam, especially now that I have my new Carnival Love Tahiti palette to play with too.
Have you tried anything from Shrine? I really want to try the Shrine drops and have fabulous pink and lilac hair.
