Ole Henriksen Balance It All Set
I’m back again with another absolute steal of a bargain from Ole Henriksen and their newest three step regime kit, the Ole Henriksen Balance It All. I absolutely love these kits that they put out and from trying them, I have found some of my long term loves in skincare such as the Wonderfeel Cleanser from the Three Makeup Wonders set, which I wish they sold individually, and the Truth collection love was started from the Let’s Get Luminous Set. With the Balance It All set, the focus is on oil control and pore refining and in line with some of the newest Balance releases, the Balance It All set features one of the brand new products which I have been very excited to try.

I do have combination skin which does sometimes have a tendency to be oilier than normal every now and again so I do find a balancing product to be very beneficial. I am very lucky in that I very rarely get spots but if I do see the onset of one, I’m jumping straight for my oil controlling skincare, ready to attack the little blighters.
Within the Balance It All Set, a cleanser, toner and the newest addition to the range, the Cold Plunge Pore Remedy moisturiser. In the previous set released by Ole Henriksen, the Balance Hydrator used to be it’s predecessor and I really liked that product for give moisture whilst mattifying so I have high hopes for the latest release.
Ole Henriksen Find Your Balance Oil Control Cleanser
If you want really clean skin then this is the cleanser that I find does all the work without leaving your skin stripped of it’s natural goodness. It makes light work of reduces excess oils and really gives pores a good cleanse to unclog and purify. Scented with eucalyptus to give you a freshening awakening, the oil control cleanser is formulated with Green Fusion Complex and need seed oil as well as glycolic and lactic acids which are great for clearing away dead skin cells and leaving your complexion with that signature Ole Glow.
Ole Henriksen Balancing Force Oil Control Toner
A perfect addition to the cleanser, the oil control toner is a great one for the morning. This facial astringent helps with removing any excess oils and refining pores, with it’s powerful formulation of salicylic, glycolic and lactic acid. It’s so refreshing as it has a eucalyptus and peppermint scent and really gives you that jolt awake in a morning. I love how it leaves the skin matte but still with that glow of healthy fresh skin. I do find that I tend to use the toner in my routine more frequently than the cleanser as sometimes I just need that little extra down my nose where I have sebaceous filaments that need an extra kick up the bum to clear them.
Ole Henriksen Balance Cold Pore Plunge Moisturiser
Ole Henriksen have released a few new exciting products this year and the Cold Pore Plunge moisturiser is definitely one of them. I had high hopes for it as it was replacing my trusty hydrator which has since been discontinued (or unavailable at this time) so I wanted it to give me everything I need; oil free, mattifying but still giving me hydration and a glow. Did it meet my standards? Oh yes! This is one of the loveliest creams for balancing the skin that I have tried and I particularly love the freezing cold feeling it gives you when you apply it. It fills in pores, and leaves skin matte which looks wonderful under makeup. It does contain salicylic acid which has always been a wonder ingredient for me when my skin needs help and honestly, I haven’t been so impressed with a moisturiser in such a long time.

There’s been a few extra products added to the Balance collection, which is exclusive to Boots and is currently holding a 20% off premium beauty offer. I really can’t wait to try the Cold Plunge Pore Mask and the Sauna Scrub and I’ll definitely need a full sized Cold Pore Plunge moisturiser.

I’ve actually never tried their products before
