NARS Holiday 2022 – Stargaze & Rising Star Palettes
This years NARS Holiday collection is quite simply a must have and one of the collections that I look forward to each year. I’ve found that I’ve been indulging in a lot more NARS this year, and as my makeup choices have changed somewhat, NARS are ticking every box for me. The NARS Holiday Collection is made up of several items this year, all decorated with a star theme and with gifts to suit any budget. What’s In The NARS Holiday Collection This Year?
This years collection has some beautiful sets and products, such as the Mini’s; Light Reflecting Powder and the Dolce Vita Lip Duo in boxes that you can hang from the tree, a new Audacious lipstick in new shade Ava complete with an star embossed bullet as well as limited edition face and eye gift sets. There’s also an oversized Orgasm blusher and a full sized Light Reflecting powder both housed in the star compacts. It truly is a delightful collection this year.
NARS Holiday 2022 Stargaze Eyeshadow Palette
Whilst I’ve always been a NARS cheek palette purchaser, I’ve resisted the eyeshadow palettes from NARS over the years. That was until I got the Summer Unrated palette this year. I don’t know whether its because they have changed the formulation or if I have just been missing out but I really love how the formula glides on the eyes and blends like butter.
The Stargaze palette contains 12 shades in a range of colours and finishes that allows your creativity to run free. With a mix of neutrals, pops of colours and shimmering shades, the perfect party eye is upon you. From a deep smoky eye to a multi dimensional starry eye with the glittery toppers, it’s THE palette for the festive season.

I’ve found that the shimmer shades work really well when applying with your finger, but can be layered up for a more intense effect. The glitters are superb and work both wet and dry, with a wet brush giving the most dramatic show stopping metallic foiled finish.
I have noticed some inconsistencies with pricing around the Stargaze palette with Boots having it for sale at £45 whereas most other retailers have it between £50 and £60! With Boots also having numerous 20% off premium beauty days on the run up to Christmas, it’s a no brainer to get it from there for £36.
NARS Holiday 2022 Rising Star Cheek Palette
Welcome to the family Rising Star Cheek Palette, you are the most beautiful palette I’ve ever seen and you’ll fit right in with other 10 or 15 NARS cheek palettes. The embossed stars on the powders drew me like a moth to a flame to the Rising Star palette as well as it being a palette of unreleased limited edition shades.
Formulation wise, NARS blushers always perform well with their lightweight powder base and intense pigments leaving a pure colour payoff on the skin. A beautiful seamless blend and long lasting wear time, they really are one of the best formulas on the market. I do feel like these blushes have more of a creamy powder like formulation and although they apply semi sheer, they build up to a beautiful pop of colour.
