Nakin Skincare – The Anti-Ageing Helper

I’ve discovered a brand that’s taking skincare to new heights. A brand that promises formulations free from undesirables that is luxurious and effective. Anti ageing properties and a natural beauty range, Nakin Skincare has built a beautiful brand with some incredible properties. During lockdown I’ve been taking a step back from makeup and really focusing on working on my skin by using products that are tackling my skin concerns. Taking extra time in my routine and not just piling on products is really working for me and I’m happy with an extremely minimal routine. At most, I’m using just four products; a cleanser, toner, facial oil and a serum and I don’t think that my skin has ever been in such good condition. Glowing, younger looking and very supple.

I’ve used a serum twice daily for as long as I can remember. The Nakin Skincare Anti-Ageing Performance Serum is a smooth and silky elixir that feels simply heavenly when pressed into my skin. Rich in anti -oxidants, hibiscus and hyaluronic acid, my skin soaks it up. It’s perfect for keeping my skin hydrated during the day and whilst working from home and it does interfere with makeup application on those days where I feel like glamming up. I’ve used the entire bottle up already and added it to my repurchase list once I’ve got through some more skincare in my stash. At £25 for 50ml, it’s reasonably priced for skincare however my only negative is the packaging. The bottle is a generic plastic pump bottle printed with the brand details however within two or three used, the printed text was started to come off and leaving black bits on my hands. Not too much of an issue but by the end of the bottle there’s no text left whatsoever and luxurious serum does look like I’ve decanted product into a travel bottle. It’s minor but it takes away from how good the product inside is.

. You all know that I am a facial oil obsessive so the Nakin Anti Ageing Revitalising Facial Oil has slipped into my routine with ease and brings me great joy when massaging it into my skin. It doesn’t have much of a scent to it but it smells clean and natural. I like to warm up a few drops in the palms of my hands before pressing and pushing it into my skin for my nightly massage. I find that spending 5 to 10 minutes massaging my skin rather than just putting on the oil and leaving it has given my skin a new lease of life. It’s relaxing but I’m also stimulating the skin and helping with lymphatic drainage. For an oil, it’s not overly oily so doesn’t leave any residue and it immediately boosts how fresh the skin looks. By working with oils, it’s really helped with my natural oil production and stop it from being so prevalent.
