L’Oreal Million Carats

I’m a total sucker for a free gift with purchase (FGWP) and with a minimum threshold spend of £15 to qualify for the L’Oreal FGWP, I was sold. I had only popped into Boots for a new mascara, L’Oreal Million Eyes, when I noticed that the FGWP was a pretty decent offering. Totalling £28 and containing three full sized products, as well as samples of their latest skincare, this little box of treats was winging its way home with me.

The Million Carat gift box is perfect for the Festive season. Alongside the skincare samples, nestled inside the box are a full sized Million Eyes glitter topcoat, a full sized red nail varnish and a full sized red lipstick.

The glitter top coat mascara gives a small sparkle with one coat and a more intense covering with two. It doesn’t pick up very well in the photo however every time I looked in the mirror I could see the glittery particles.

The lipstick has been adorning my lips since I received it. The colour is a true red, with a long lasting and creamy formula. The only downside is the smell, it smells like parma violet sweets and its a bit off putting but the lipstick itself is brilliant.

The nail varnish lasted about three days before its first chip, but I still blame my top coat rather than the nail varnish 😉 The red matches the lipstick perfectly, and I love to be co-ordinated.

I’m not too sure how long the FGWP is on for however I will say that you need to get one before they fly off the shelves. I’m loving mine, and I think my Mum is too.
