There’s something about a Juicy Couture fragrance that I can’t resist. Whether it’s because it reminds me of my past as I used to wear Juicy Couture as my work perfume, or because the bottles are just so gloriously over the top, I always seem to end up with a new bottle at some point throughout each year. Earlier on this year, which has passed by in the blink of an eye, Look Fantastic sent me a bottle of the brand new Juicy Couture fragrance; Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Pink Couture Eau de Parfum. This floral fruity gourmand has certainly livened up the last few months and in true Anoushka style, I have been wearing this whilst I was powering through work. A quick spritz now reminds me of the short summer we had and each time I wear it, it makes me feel very cute and playful – just how Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy fragrances should make you feel.

The fragrance opens with top notes of cassis, waterlily, watermelon and quince. It’s very sweet when it’s first sprayed, and reminds me of a Britney fragrance from many years ago. Once it starts to warm up on the skin, the fragrance transforms with heart notes of jasmine, sambac, frangipani and strawberry before base notes of vanilla, sandalwood, driftwood and praline appear.

I am immediately drawn to the praline base notes and they warm up beautifully on my skin leaving me with a creamy and fresh finish. I also find that the strawberry notes are really prevalent through the fragrance although not overpowering or cloying as it works beautifully with the sandalwood.

I find that the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Pink Couture lasts around 4- 5 hours on me before I find the need to freshen up. It’s vibrant, fun and flirty and the hot pink flacon with it’s diamond like stopper and bright pink bow just makes it.
