The eyebrows are the windows of the face as they say. They also say that eyebrows are supposed to be sisters and not twins. Well, I say I love a pair of brows that are plucked and threaded to perfection. My eyebrows haven’t always been the fabulous fluffy brows they are today and in between regular appointments I need to make sure that I am doing all I can to keep them in tip top condition. I am a regular user of brow products and over the years I’ve found certain products from certain brands that have done wonders for my brows and I’ve done it again. I’ve found two new products that I absolutely adore and I am so grateful for. Introducing Eyebrow Queen, the brand that will ensure your brows are on fleek.

Created by the Eyebrow Queen herself Nilam Holmes, she has designed a full range of products to tame, maintain and style your brows. The range includes everything you could think of from scissors and tweezers to brow serum and a very potent fixing gel, alongside brushes, spoolies and brow gel. All packaging in super stylish and very sleek black and gold packaging, they look fantastic and left me hungry for more.
I’ve been trying two products from the range; the brow serum and the eyebrow pencil and I must say that I have been very impressed with what I have seen so far. I have been a die hard fan of the Fenty Brow MVP since it’s launch and it would take an awful lot to take me away from it’s perfectly waxy pencil goodness. That was until I stroked a few hairs through my brows using the Eyebrow Queen Brow Pro Pencil. My goodness, it’s divine.
A self sharpening brow pencil with a spoolie fitted on the end and available in 6 shades to complement your brow hair shade. I’m using the shade Medium Brown which does come off a little darker than my natural brow shade but I think anything lighter would be too light. It has a triangular tip that is narrow in width so you can create really fine hair strokes in your brow. Unlike the Benefit Goof Proof pencil which has the same triangular shape, I always found that really difficult to draw hairs and it was more of a filler in type pencil. This is much easier to use and apply with a natural finish. The sharp point helps you to be precise in filling in the gaps and you can flip it so the longer side quickly fills in the rest of the brow without needing much precision. The formulation is incredibly soft and I did apply too much pressure at the beginning. You just need a light hand to fill in and the spoolie will help diffuse the product into your brows. It’s fabulous.
The product that has me hooked is the Eyebrow Queen Brow Serum. At £75 for 20ml it’s not cheap but it’s worth every penny. I have a 5ml size which means I will need to get a bigger one soon. I’ve been using brow and lash serums for a long time and I do own quite a nice pair of fluffy brows from looking after them. The Brow Serum is part of my nightly routine and I let it work its magic whilst I sleep. Brow Serum promises to enhance the thickness of the brow hair and help stimulate the growth in areas that are a little sparser. It can also be used on lashes however I have yet to try this!
Simple to use, all you need to do is pop a drop on the spoolie and brush through your brows and use the angled brush to fill in the gaps where you want to concentrate the product. I’m seeing my brows look healthier and I’ve noticed that I seem to have to have them threaded more than usual lately. I really can’t wait to see what the look like in a few months time.
I think I would like to give the Brow Fix a go next as this is to help lock your brows in place all day – just what I need! Eyebrow Queen also do an at home lamination kit if you like the pushed up and full look.
