17 Makeup is back at Boots!

Imagine my delight whilst browsing the Boots app when I saw the newly relaunched 17 range. A range that was pivotal in my makeup journey back in the early 00s. The range that was purchased with my pocket money and I will never forget the best Christmas gift when my mum got me a large tool box (trust me, they make excellent makeup boxes) absolutely filled to the brim with 17 makeup. In fact, one of the best lipsticks that they ever made was Hot Chilli and I hope to see that back soon. I’m having a memory moment here! I decided to get a little selection and whilst I shared it on my TikTok several weeks ago, I cannot believe I’ve only got round to writing now. Let’s take a look at the products and see what they’re like compared to the old 17 range that I spoke about in 2014.

I bought quite a lot however I did only spend around £60 which is fantastic for the amount of products that I purchased. I got a little bit of everything and I’ve been really pleased with so many of the items that I got. In fact, there’s a few more items in my basket that I’d like to get.

17 Base Glow Illuminating Primer

One of two primers that I purchased, the illuminating primer is one of those products that works perfectly as intended; a wonderfully hydrating makeup primer or worn alone to give skin a luminous finish where you glow with a natural luminosity. I’ve fallen head over heels for this one and I love how it makes my skin look, both under makeup or worn as a cheaper alternative to a ‘flawless filter’ style finish.
