Pixi by Petra Endless Silky Eye Pens
Twice a year we are privy to Fashion Week, where we see some amazing trends hit the catwalk. Although I love the fashion side, I do pay more attention to the make up trends that appear. This season we have seen the blackened berry lip make an appearance as well as graphic liners for eyes, in a variety of colours. I’ve always been a fan of coloured liners, as they can make such a difference to a neutral eye makeup look. Even from swapping a carbon black liner to a grey or brown liner can change a look in an instant. I’ve been playing around with the Pixi by Petra Endless Silky Eye Pens, a collection of 15 shades from deep glittery blacks to pops of violet and cobalt blue.
The Pixi by Petra Endless Silky Eye Pens are just like a normal eye liner pencil to look at, but the formulation of them is unbelievable. Silky is very true, in fact I didn’t believe that the liner was going to stay put when I first applied it. So soft and creamy, they glide on before setting in place. In fact, being quick to make a wing has its advantage, as once they have set, they literally do not budge. No budging means no smudging, and an oil based remover is a necessity to take off the intensely pigmented formula. For a product that has such staying power, they are soft and gentle on the eye and contain no parabens or mineral oil within the ingredients. They have been formulated with Vitamin E so the delicate skin around the eye stays safe from damage.

Graphic Greige – graphic grey. Velvet Violet – vibrant violet with blue sheen. Cobalt Blue – vibrant true blue and Opal Overcoat – pearlescent opal
Although I’ve known of Pixi by Petra for such a long time, I haven’t delved into the brand other than trying out the Holy Grail of toners, Glow Tonic. Having had a breakfast meeting with the Pixi by Petra team and meeting the lovely Amanda Bell and Caroline Hirons, I was introduced to some amazing products that are available in time for Christmas. I’ll be showcasing my favourites on the blog in the next few weeks and I can’t wait for you to see them.

You met Caroline Hirons, OMG! I haven’t dived into their makeup yet either, but their duo blushes look fantastic and these liners look really pretty and creamy too. Thanks for sharing, beautiful photos x
