Neal’s Yard are a brand that have been around for many years. I believe it’s been forty years since they opened their flagship store in Covent Garden and have since gone from strength to strength, with availability across five continents. The Neal’s Yard Wild Rose range is a delight and whilst the Beauty Balm has been around for over 10 years, the Wild Rose range has only recently been expanded. Known as a modern apothecary, the brand believes that outer beauty and inner health should be in perfect balance. High quality organic ingredients, ethically sourced herbs, botanicals and essential oils all make Neal’s Yard products natural, organic and ethical. A great ethos, and really great products and I have really been enjoying using my new goodies in my routine.

Neal’s Yard Wild Rose AHA Toner

The newest launch from Neal’s Yard, the Wild Rose AHA Toner is a really gentle yet effective toner to promote refined skin and enhance your natural radiance. I’m really into AHAs in toners at the moment, and I’m finding them to be the easiest way to gently exfoliate without the need for harsh scrubs and products. The formulation is packed full of wonder ingredient Rosehip seed oil, as well as Caviar lime extract and citric acid to slough away dead skin cells to reveal fresh new skin underneath.

Skin tone and texture looks renewed and healthy and the added aloe vera and glycerine help to hydrate and smooth. After using the toner, my skin doesn’t feel dry or tight and feels soft and supple with a natural radiance. I prefer to use toner by pouring it into my hands and pressing it into the skin than using on a cotton pad and it really is a treat. It’s also suitable for sensitive skin so there’s no redness or reaction after using it. It really is a delight.

Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Eye Brightener

It’s taken years but finally I am using eye cream on a more frequent basis, and for that I am proud of myself. The Eye Brightener has really helped in a morning to make me look more awake due to the light reflecting particles within the cream. Rosehip seed oil is really good as an anti oxidant and helps reduce the appearance of dark circles and fine lines, whilst hyaluronic acid helps plump and hydrate. The eye area looks visibly more awake and dare I say it, but I feel like it makes me look younger around the eye area. You do only need a small amount and it does take some time to absorb so treat yourself to more of a pamper in the morning rather than slapping on the skincare and heading off out.

Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Glow Day Cream

Oh hello! Now this is a dream. The Glow Day cream does exactly what it says on the pot. It does say that’s its ultra light but personally I feel that it does take it’s time to sink in as it’s a little heavier than I expected. Again, wonder product Rosehip seed oil is giving my skin everything it needs. Hydrating, nourishing, luminosity bringing and an all round great cream, I’m really enjoying using this. Hyaluronic acid once again features to help with hydration whilst grapeseed oils rid me of any dry skin. Most of all, the scent is just divine. It’s so incredibly luxurious and considering I’ve not tried much from the brand before, I think this has completely won me over.

Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Glow Facial Oil

There is one skincare item that I will use all the time and that’s a facial oil. I love how they feel on my skin, I love what they do to my skin and the Glow Facial Oil with its rosehip seed oil is perfect. Rosehip is so good for your skin and if you are choosing a facial oil, I would always suggest looking for a pressed rosehip oil or one where it is the main ingredient. The Glow facial oil is a dry oil, and I do prefer to use it at night as it does affect how your makeup sits over it. At night, I use it after glow day cream for an intensive boost of hydration to work it’s magic whilst I sleep. Skin looks glowing in the morning with no oily residue and it doesn’t leave any marks or colour staining on your pillows. It’s magic.

I’m really looking forward to trying more from the brand and I think my next step is to get my hands on the beauty balm that everyone raves about!
