Monsoon Party Wear: Hollywood Glamour
Monsoon and Accessorize are two of my go-to shops where I know I will find that show stopping outfit and accessories whether it be for a ball, wedding or special occasion. This years party wear has been catching my eye lately so I’ve put together three of my favourite looks which would be ideal for Christmas and New Year.
The Hollywood Glamour look is perfect for those special evenings if you are attending a black tie ball or a more formal dinner or dance. The ultimate in sophistication and the perfect opportunity to wear something that you wouldn’t get to wear very often. A floor length gown with mermaid skirt and a sweetheart neckline is still sexy yet grown up, modern yet classy.
Simple but striking jewellery will enhance the overall look. Chandelier drop earrings and a necklace that enhances the neckline of the dress will be just perfect. A glamourous chignon or french pleat will look beautiful especially when the hair accessory is added. A sparkly pair of shoes and matching clutch complete this sophisticated look.
Keep makeup minimal and let the outfit do the talking. Soft dewy skin, a smouldering eye and nude lip will compliment this outfit to a tee.
