The YSL Touché Eclat Radiant Touch is one of the beauty worlds most famous and wanted products. It has been around for quite a long time, I remember buying my first Touché Eclat when I was about 18 or 19. It has been a make up bag staple for so many years, and I even have the limited edition gold touché d’or from the Bow Collection which has gold pigments within the pen. Perfect for giving you a flawless, just had 8 hours sleep look, YSL Touché Eclat contains a Luminocaptide Complex designed to make you look relaxed and refreshed.
A common misconception is that the YSL Touché Eclat is a concealer. It is not! The light reflecting pigments within the Touché Eclat will not conceal your spots, they will only highlight them. The Touché Eclat is a highlighter. Yes, it can be used on dark circles, however you are not concealing them. You are strategically adding light to dark so any signs of tiredness are eradicated. The Touché Eclat is very sheer and water based, so if you were to use it as a concealer it wouldn’t do a very good job as it is almost too sheer to cover anything up.
The best places to apply YSL Touché Eclat are under the arch of your brow and brow bone to lift the brow. I also like to add it down the centre of my nose and in the lines that run from my nose to the outer corners of my lips. A few dots blended across the cheekbone will lift and highlight, and outlining your cupids bow will give the appearance of fuller, plumped up lips. Anywhere where the light naturally hits your face can be enhanced by using Touché Eclat on these areas.
For me, the YSL Touché Eclat Radiant Touch is a life saver. Being able to cover up any signs of fatigue and fine lines with just the click of a pen is just fabulous. A handbag staple and a life long friend.
YSL Touché Eclat is available from Boots at £25.
