Updated – Makeup Geek Eye Shadow Collection
Oh guys, I can’t just how long I’ve not been able to post for due to a webite issue. Thankfully, after a change of host, and upgrade to my server and a domain transfer, as well as lots of phone calls and CSS editing, I think I am finally back on track. I have several posts that should have been posted last month and the first week of this month, so expect lots of brand new content whilst I clear this backlog. Since buying my first lot of Makeup Geek shadows, I have since gone on to buy three more lots, so as promised, I will show you my new shades and keep you in the loop.
I wasn’t planning on buying more shades so quickly after buying my first four colours but I just couldn’t resist the beautiful formulas and colours. I originally wanted Flame Thrower to go alongside In The Spotlight foiled shadow, so that was my main reasoning for placing a new order. So, off I headed to Beauty Bay where I picked up four shades – one foiled and three pressed shadows. What I love about Beauty Bay is the fact that their delivery is so quick. It’s free tracked delivery on orders over £15 or just £2.50 for Next Day Delivery. I opted for Next Day as I couldn’t wait, and after ordering late Thursday night, they arrived first thing on Saturday morning with Royal Mail.

I have developed a bit of a soft spot for the foiled eyeshadows and as I love In The Spotlight so much, I added Flame Thrower into the mix. Flame Thrower is a true bright warm copper and it makes green eyes really pop out. I love it as a lid colour for extra oomph and to line my under eyes for a sparkly finish.
In the pressed shadows, I bought Goddess – a metallic pale copper, Cosmopolitan – a rose gold shimmer and Bitten – a matte deep maroon. All the shades work well individually as well as pairing up to work together. Bitten is definitely a shade that every girl should own. Not only does it make a seductive smoky eye, but the shade is so complimentary to every eye colour.
Unfortunately, I had a bit of an accident when I took my Z palette filled with my Makeup Geek shadows away. The foiled eye shadows do not travel well and mine had broken all over my palette. I straight away ordered a new one, and added two more pressed shadows to my order. It was pointless just ordering one eye shadow really. The next delivery saw a new In The Spotlight as well as Frappe and Mango Tango being added to the palette. Frappe, a matte maple brown and Mango Tango, a peachy pink with gold flecks are very complimentary to all my other shades and again still have the most beautiful buttery formulas.
I am in love with my Makeup Geek shadows, and apart from my not wanting to take them away as I don’t want them to break, I am using them all of the time. I get so many comments when I wear Morocco, as it makes my eyes pop out so much. I have ordered another eight shades, but I’m going to save those for a future post.

I completely obsessed with MUG shadows! Flame Thrower and Morocco are two of my favourites. I love bitten too. Cherry cola is another one my all time favourites it looks similar to bitten but is more of a warm brown.
