Day Two of 28 Days of Lipstick isn’t about any lipsticks that I own, but about a set of eight lip colours that I will be lusting after for the next few months. The Tom Ford Spring Collection 2014 is just incredible and it should have been hitting stores on Monday. During my daily peruse of Selfridges New In section on the website, I saw these staring at me and thought ‘Quick, lets do a blog post’!!
The Tom Ford Spring Collection 2014 is a collection of eight Sheer lip colours with a unique shape to the lipstick compared to the usual offerings, as well as four nail colours. Do you want to see them? I bet you do!
Bitter Sweet: Plum
In the Buff: Beige
Paradisco: Light coral
Pink Dune: Pink beige
Summer Fling: Pink coral
Sweet Spot: Orange coral
As usual, the Tom Ford lip colours are described as being ultra hydrating and moisturising and containing vitamin C and E, a blend of essential oils and Shea butter. The sheer colours are housed in a limited white and gold case, that has not been seen since 2011.
The nail colours are also in white and gold packaging, with the following colours available
Coral Beach: Coral
Sugar Dune: Beige
The Tom Ford Spring Collection 2014 is limited edition so it won’t be around forever. I think the colours are perfect for Summer but I will have to try them as I prefer an opaque lipstick as opposed to a sheer, however Incorrigable and Paradisco are my kind of colour.
Tom Ford Sheer Lip Colours are priced at £36 and Nail Colours at £26 and are available at Selfridges now.
