28 Days of Lipstick: Day Three | Seventeen Hot Chilli

I don’t usually go near the Seventeen counter in my local Boots store, mainly because I can’t get near it for the gangs of school girls stood in front of it, and also because I tend to forget about actually how good some of the products are. 17, as they were known when I was a teenager, have recently had an image overhaul and really brought the brand up to date. Still keeping lipstick shades like Heather Berry and Poncho Pink which just take me back to the school corridors where I used to swap make up tips with my besties. Ahhh.

I clocked my Mum wearing Seventeen Hot Chilli and I was instantly wish listing it. My Mum had seen it on Georgia May Foote, who plays Katy in Corrie and had tweeted her to see where it was from, thinking it was a high end brand. But it wasn’t! It was a £4.29 drugstore lipstick that is so intense in colour, long lasting and moisturising. Hurrah for Seventeen!

Hot Chilli is a fabulous summer shade. The bright orange will not only compliment a tan, but the tones in the colour will suit any colouring too. It lasted a good six hours on me whilst eating and drinking, and didn’t settle onto any dry patches which gives it 10/10 in my book. I think I’m going to have to keep more of an eye on Seventeen in the future.

Seventeen is only available from Boots, and is priced at £4.29.
