I have so many pink lipsticks. Pink lipsticks in various finishes. Pink lipsticks that are very similar to other pink lipsticks that I already own. So, why did I feel the need to stalk the MAC and Selfridges website until I could get my hands on the RiRi Holiday lipstick Pleasurebomb? Maybe because its single-handedly the most beautiful shade of pink that I have ever seen.

A deep fuschia, vibrant and deep with cool blue and red undertones in a matte finish, this lipstick is just incredible. Damn you for being a limited edition! The matte formula isn’t drying and is more creamier than previous matte lipsticks. It lasted approximately five hours on me before I needed to top up, and I teamed it with More to Love lip liner to create a perfect pout. Dry lips are a no no so make sure you are primed before application.

Although a totally new shade, I would say that there are two MAC lipsticks off the top of my head that are similar. if you missed out on a chance to get Pleasurebomb, All Fired Up from the Retro-matte collection is similar, but slightly redder. I also think that Girl About Town is a good match however it isn’t matte and is slightly deeper in colour.

I’m not a huge fan of limited edition packaging, but this rose gold and white bullet is very pretty, however I wish it was in its traditional black packaging like when I managed to get RiRi Woo the first time it was launched. I hope they consider bringing this shade back out again as I have worn it so many times already since I bought it, I have a feeling that it won’t last very long.

Did you manage to get hold of any of the Rihanna collection? What was your favourite?
