Liz Earle Skincare Essentials

The Liz Earle Skincare Essentials three step regime was introduced to me many months ago by fellow cabin crew members whilst talking about how dry and tired our skin gets after flying. I knew my Nanna used it quite frequently and loved it so after having a little nosy at the Liz Earle website – link here, I decided to purchase the monthly package to see what the fuss was about.

The package costs £43 and contains the three steps to beautiful skin. A 100ml Cleanse and Polish and two pure muslin cloths, a 200ml Instant Boost Skin Tonic and a 50ml tub of Skin Repair Moisturiser (available in normal/combination and dry/sensitive). Included in the monthly package is a free full size product. This month is a complimentary full-size Energising Hip and Thigh Gel worth £18.25. How fantastic is that for £43 and free delivery.
When you order online, within your box of goodies you also receive a travel size complimentary product too. It’s those little touches that I love, and keep me going back for more and now I have the full sized products at home and mini products to keep in my work suitcase!

The Lowdown…

Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is gentle enough to use morning and night. The plant based product contains eucalyptus and cocoa butter to give you beautiful soft skin and is also strong enough to remove makeup and mascara. Splash your face with warm water and apply a pump or two of the cleanser to your face, avoiding your eyes. Polish off the cleanser with your muslin cloth that has been immersed in warm water. Gentle circular motions will remove all traces of the cleanser and exfoliate at the same time. I love how my skin feels once I’ve removed the cleanser.

Instant Boost Skin Tonic should be applied to a cotton pad and applied over your face. The smell is beautiful and feels so fresh. You can also purchase the tonic with a spray nozzle to use as a misting spray to keep you cool and refreshed throughout the hot summer weather we are experiencing. It’s also alcohol free, so it doesn’t dry your skin out and the cucumber extracts within the tonic are exceptionally cooling and soothing.

Skin Repair Moisturiser contains borange and avocado oils to soften and smooth out your skin. It’s very lightweight and doesn’t feel at all heavy on your skin once applied. If your skin needs a bit of TLC, this moisturiser is definitely on my recommendation list. You can feel it soaking into your skin and if you suffer from dehydrated skin like myself, it’s a wonderful product that will really make a difference.
