Laura Mercier secret camouflage is a two toned concealer that allows you to blend your own colour to cover up those pesky imperfections. I’ve chosen SC-4, which is medium to golden skin tones, however I think I’ll need SC-3 (yellow or pink skin tones) for the winter months.
To use, I’ve found that if I take a small amount of both colours and mix them on the back of my hand, it warms the product enough to be able to blend it easily onto your face. The concealer in the pan is really hard and almost chalky in texture but once warmed, it’s a deliciously creamy consistency and the warmth makes it so much more easy to use. I’ve been using the 195 MAC concealer brush to apply mine as the pointed tip is perfect for those inner corners of your under eye.
Whilst trialling out Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage , I’ve been reading a lot of beauty blogs about their love/hate relationship with it. I think the key to this product is definitely warming it up before use. I have used the product to cover up spots, blemishes and to cover dark under eye circles. It does take a bit of practice to be able to use it under eye but once you have cracked it, it creates an absolutely flawless face.
I’d definitely recommend Secret Camouflage. You can find it here for £26This post may contain PR samples that have been sent to me for consideration for review however all my opinions will be my own.
