Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tanning

Self tanning products seem to have jumped up to the top of my daily basics in the last few months. Even though I spend so much time in foreign climes, I don’t want to spend all day in the sun and would prefer to fake it, especially when it comes to my face. I’ve been trying out Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tanning lately.

I adore Clarins yet I had never tried this until my airline introduced it to our onboard boutique last year. This is the same pot that I bought last year and I’ve almost used it up. Even though I use it frequently, a little does go such a long way so the value for money is incredible!

The product does have a slight smell of false tan however it isn’t overbearing and the overall scent is quite luxurious. When applied, it melts into the skin, smoothing out any fine lines and pores. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all and used over a period of a few days, it gives a beautiful golden subtle glow. I like to use it of an evening in place of my moisturiser as I have found that it doesn’t clog pores or aggravate my skin.

To apply, take a small amount in the end of your finger and massage into your skin, taking care around the hairline and eyebrows. Use underneath your daily makeup routine as a primer or use alone to even out skin tone for a natural look.

Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tanning can be purchased here for £18.
