Over the last 12 months, I have been given opportunities and experiences that I would never have normally had the chance to do. One of these ‘pinch yourself’ days happened around a fortnight ago, when I had the chance to meet the Queen. Yep, Queen Charlotte Tilbury. My icon, idol and woman crush, I have been following the work of Charlotte for as long as I can remember. I was first in line for the launch of her makeup line and I always ask for Charlotte Tilbury make up for birthdays and Christmases. When the email dropped into my inbox, I was practically dancing whilst I replied that I would be able to attend. So, on that wonderful Tuesday lunchtime, myself and Gemma hit Selfridges, had our lips ‘Tilburied’ and headed up to the private VIP area to meet her Royal Highness.
Walking into that room to be greeted by Charlotte and her team was just so surreal. Years of watching her on YouTube and following her on social media makes you feel like already know her, and she was so down to earth and lovely. We were seated at a table filled with Charlotte Tilbury products. It was like a dream come true for any make up addict. With Charlotte at the head of the table, we sat and listened to the newest launch, the Charlotte Tilbury The Supermodel Look In A Box whilst playing with all the existing products from the Tilbury range.
Whilst we sipped our Italian coffees with our Charlotte Tilbury cookies, we listened as Charlotte took us through the existing range, highlighting those wonder products that we really should have in our make up bags before moving onto the the sets that had been created exclusively in time for Christmas. One of Charlotte’s aims was for people to gift make up and with her easy to understand looks choosing a make up gift is easy. Any worry and frustration can be removed with the sets being sold as an entirety, as well as individual item, so whether you wanted to look like The Vintage Vamp or The Bombshell you can drop hints to your nearest and dearest. *Hint Hint – The Dolce Vita*
The Easy Gifting Revolution has so many options to choose from which makes gifting make up so easy. From the £25 signature make up bags to the £220 Lipstick Wardrobe, there is a gift for every budget. The newest Look in a Box to join the 10 look collection is The Supermodel. The limited edition The Supermodel is very special as it comes in an exclusive video box that contains the full look as well as a video tutorial with Charlotte Tilbury. The box contains the following
Luxury Colour-Coded eyeshadow palette in Fallen Angel
K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in Confession
Lip lustre lip lacquer in Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
Rock ‘n’ Kohl liquid eye pencil in Bedroom Black
Full Fat Lashes 5 Star Mascara: Curl-Seperation-Length-Volume-Drama in Glossy Black
Lip Cheat Re-Shape and Re-Size lip liner in Pillowtalk
Cheek To Cheek Swish & Pop blusher in Sex On Fire
The set can be bought as the standard Look In A Box, £175 or as the Luxury Video Box Make Up Set, £200 or each piece individually. Its a great set to buy if you are starting out in the world of Tilbury, or if you have built up quite a collection then individual pieces are great to expand it.
The Fallen Angel eyeshadow compact is slightly different to the others as it comes in a limited edition 1000 stars case with embossed stars on the shadows. If you are to buy just one eyeshadow compact, then I urge you to get this one. The colours can be worn wet or dry and using only the finest ingredients, it is worth its £45 price tag.
