Chanel Dentelle Précieuse Illuminating Powder
Well, first of all let me explain that this really isn’t a review as I daren’t put my fingers anywhere near this delectable limited edition compact from Chanel, so it is really just a blog post so we can ooh and ahh over its beauty. Chanel Dentelle Précieuse Illuminating Powder is the newest limited edition offering and when I say limited, I mean it is harder to get hold of than the sun. It is that limited that the only stockists are exclusively in Chanel at Covent Garden, Chanel Boutiques, House of Fraser Glasgow, Fenwicks Newcastle, Selfridges Manchester Exchange and Selfridges London. Selfridges Manchester had three left when I went in store, so it was inevitable that I would be getting one. I sent a little picture to my gorgeous friend Sarah from andbeautyorsomething and I think she spent the evening trying to track it down but to no avail.
The Chanel Dentelle Précieuse Illuminating Powder is a blend of pink, beige and bronze underneath the most gorgeous intricate lace design. I actually cannot bear the thought of rubbing the design off to get to the powder however when I tried it in store, I can honestly say tha it is the most delightful summery glow that will highlight and sculpt your face to perfection, if you dare to touch it that is!
Housed in a velvet pouch with a Chanel angled sable haired brush, this truly is a beautiful item to add to your collection. I think when I do get round to using it, I will be a bit disappointed with the fact that the brush doesn’t sit inside the compact, like my Chanel Le Beige compact. The polished black case adds to the luxury and the femininity of the Chanel Dentelle Précieuse Illuminating Powder.
So, lets just swoon over the gorgeousness and be in awe of its beauty.
It was quite pricey, the equivalent of two weeks food shopping for me, hence why I’ starving right now. However if you can get hold of one, £46 is a small price to pay.

So pretty!!! Love the way your photographed it. You’re so lucky to have nabbed one xx
Thank you! Still waiting to use it haha!xx
Stunning! Completely understand why you wouldn’t want to compromise its beauty with a swatch, lol. I’ll probably never get my hands on one of these either but a girl can dream. Just picked up one of the Dior My Lady Blushes the other day and it killed me to swatch it for my post (going up Thursday I think). Thought they were gone as well but apparently still available at Saks (US), so I will keep my fingers crossed that this may come my way one day. 🙂
Aaah it’s so beautiful!! I don’t blame you for chasing it down, bet sluggy Sarah was gutted she didn’t get it 🙁 haha xx

She was! She sent me a text filled with crying emojis!xx
This looks absolutely amazing, no wonder you didn’t want to touch it! The hefty price is clearly worth it considering the detail on the product. The colour looks like perfection as well!

This actually does look beautiful, and it’s so portable too!

I still haven’t used it!xx
Ohh I just got their new Camelia de Plumes highlighter!! Have you seen it yet??
I dared swatch it for my blogpost, but like I turned and looked away while I was doing it hahahaha!!!!!
You know that I like the fact that the brush is outside of the compact in my highlighter too?
I don’t know, it’s just aesthetics I guess, and I think that the little pouch for the brush is so cute 🙂
I’m not seeing myself using such a precious and valuable-in-more-ways-than-one product for quick touch-ups on the go anyway – heaven forbid I ever dropped this!!!!!!!!!!!! -, so I don’t mind if the whole opening process is a little more elaborated.
If I take this out with me it will be just to show off, you know with that hair toss as I look at myself in the mirror, and to do this the presence of the brush will be redundant, so.

I can just imagine the hair toss, as you open the Chanel compact and make sure the camel licked face is still all beautiful xx
It’s sooo beautiful! You’re so lucky.
I’d be too scared to use it too mind you
