I absolutely love Bourjois and everything that they have been releasing lately has been spot on. The Bourjois Aqua Blush 12hr were released in the Summer 2015 collection but it took me quite some time to pick them up in Boots – we love a 3 for 2 don’t we girls! The blushes are a totally different concept to what we have seen from Bourjois in the past. In fact, I think Bourjois is so well know for their compact pots of powder blushers that it makes me really excited to see something not only new, but very different to their norm.
Described as an ultra fluid gel, the Aqua Blushes leave your cheeks with a sheer, fresh looking pop of sorbet inspired colour. Perfect for all year round, the lightness of the water based gel means that skin will feel refreshed and look radiant. In four different colours; Inge-Nude, Cocoricorail, Pink Twice and Berry Nice, the colours blend seamlessly onto the skin, and stay there for 12 hours. One pump is all that is required for a flush of colour and although it doesn’t need to built up, it can be intensified with more application. I find that the best way to apply the blush is to disperse one pump onto the tip of my finger, pat the gel onto my cheeks in three spots and tap and blend to apply the colour.
Left to Right: Pink Twice, Inge-Nude, Berry Nice, Cococorail
With the shades that are available, you don’t have to stick to just the one colour for your look. Inge-Nude can make a very light contour shade and Cococorail is great for your cheekbones. I’d even go as far as using the blushes as a multi use product and apply to cheeks, lips and eyes and as they settle down into a velvety light finish, they wouldn’t look out of place at all.
The 3 for 2 offer is still on at Boots and they retail for £8.99 individually.
