When it comes to watches, I have quite a few in my collection. Apart from using them to tell the time, I am somewhat of a magpie when it comes to picking a new timepiece. I like a classic style, with a face that you can read with ease and something that won’t fall out of fashion in an instant. I’ve dipped my toe into the world of designer watches and I am hooked. When Nordgreen contacted me about selecting a new watch, I jumped at the chance to own a beautiful Danish piece of art for my wrist and chose the Nordgreen Infinity. I had already seen them across social media and I have been struck by their aesthetically pleasing range of watches for women.

Nordgreen have been created by Danish duo Pascar Sivam and Vasilij Brandt who wanted to create a brand that featured high quality, beautifully designed yet affordable watches whilst all the time embracing an honest and sustainable brand that put others first. The ethos behind the brand is actually really special right down to their name; Nord meaning Nordic and Green which emphasises the sustainability aspect that runs throughout from manufacturing to the presentation in recycled and recyclable packaging.

With the urge of giving back at the forefront of the brand, Nordgreen give you the opportunity of choosing an partner NGO to donate part of the cost of your watch to a cause that covers health, education and environment. You can read more about the Giving Back Programme here. For each watch sold, Nordgreen empowers customers to give back by simply entering the unique serial number on the back of the watch where they can track the impact that your donation has made.

Nordgreen have three watches in the ladies collection; Philospher, Native and Infinity. I chose the Infinity watch for it’s simplicity and classic design with a silver casing, a silver mesh strap and a beautiful blush pink vegan leather strap for when I fancy a change. The Infinity is a slender 32mm in diameter and has been designed by Jakob Wagner who boasts a rather notable career in design with brands such as Bang & Olufson and Alessi. The bridge between a functional product and a sleek aesthetic is very apparent and I love how the Infinity looks when worn. The change of straps is ever so easy, with a very simple and discreet latch built into the strap. The Infinity is very much a ‘me’ watch. Subtle and sleek, without looking too big or ostentatious with a nice weight that reminds you that it’s on your wrist. I can’t help but check the time and smile when I see my lovely watch.

I really am quite enamoured with Nordgreen, the style and the principles that they uphold and I would urge you to take a look at the brand when choosing your next timepiece.

You can shop the Infinity watch amongst others at Nordgreen and you can also take 15% off the price when using my code ANOUSHKA.
