Anastasia Beverly Hills Lustrous Lip Gloss Set
When you’re lying in bed, feeling ill and wallowing in your own self pity, I usually find that a spot of online shopping normally helps to make me feel a little better. I was in Orlando and I was feeling miserable. I didn’t want to get dressed, let alone leave the comfort of my marshmallow bed. I casually checked the Macy’s website as both myself and my Momma have our eyes on the new highlighters, and for research purposes I was seeing which colour was best suited for me (Peach Nectar) and my Mum (So Hollywood). It was only when I spotted the amazing value set of ABH Lip Glosses that I practically jumped out of my pjs and into my dress and hot footed it round to Macys. Sadly, no highlighters were present in store but look at what I got – the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lustrous Lip Gloss Set!

I already owned two of the lip glosses; Hibiscus and Weekend Barbie and I have been more than impressed with the colour pay off, formulation and the delicious smell of cupcakes that drifts from the tube and onto your lips. Priced at $16 each, which equates to roughly £10.50 for each gloss, finding a set of eight glosses for just $40 is actually insane. I believe that the overall value of the set works out to be around $128. It’s exclusive to Macy’s, and the only place I have found them in the UK is on Rose’s Beauty Store for £35.
Inside the set are eight colours, in a variety of formulas and finishes. As this post will be picture heavy, I will leave the pictures to do the talking and just give you a small run down of each shade and its finish and formula. I hope you love them as much as I do!
Gilded: A metallic Champagne gold.

Sunset Strip: A fiery gold-flecked pink, sheer.
Metallic Rose: A shimmery classic mauve.
Weekend Barbie: A vivid Mattel® pink.
Date Night: A romantic ruby red.
Socialite: A sophisticated scarlet red, opaque.
Black Cherry: A moody plum purple, opaque.

The quality, formula and finish of these glosses are absolutely outstanding and for a gloss, they are incredibly pigmented. In fact, so pigmented and amazing I really struggled to get a nice finish on Black Cherry. As you can see the opaqueness of the colour makes for some serious concentration when applying – they definitely aren’t a quick slick of gloss kinda gloss. If you haven’t tried any of the Anastasia lip products yet then I really do recommend them for you to pick up. I will have my review of Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick Candy Apple coming very soon too!

I only have one ABH gloss & I love it. I was tempted by this set but there are a few I wouldn’t wear so I haven’t bought it. Dainty is my favourite! xx
