28 Days of Lipstick: Day Twenty Six | MAC Dreaming Dahlia
It wouldn’t be 28 Days of Lipstick without dropping the one of the new MAC Fantasy of Flowers lipsticks into the mix. I was in two minds at first about the lipsticks from this collection as they are a Lustre finish, which to me means sheer and not as long lasting as my preferred Amplified and Cremesheen. Whilst browsing through my collection I noticed that some of my favourite shades were a Lustre finish so my mind was made up. Hellllooooo MAC, can I make an order please?!
Dreaming Dahlia is described as sheer red coral. It is a warm toned colour that looks more orange coral than red. It is very sheer in coverage however it can be built up to a more medium coverage. Dreaming Dahlia applies easily, and is smooth straight from the bullet to the lip. I would say that I got on average 3-4 hours from MAC Dreaming Dahlia, which leaves a tint to the lips after fading.
Whilst Dreaming Dahlia isn’t as vivid once applied as the colour in the bullet, I am totally in love with this Spring time shade. The Fantasy of Flowers range is beautiful, and a perfect colour palette for Spring. I’m also lusting after Heavenly Hybrid and Snapdragon. I was a bit indifferent to the range when I first saw it but seeing it in real life has changed my mind and I want it all!
MAC Fantasy of Flowers; Pink and Green is available online at MAC now and MAC Dreaming Dahlia is priced at £15.

Beautiful colour! I actually like that it’s a bit on the sheer side, perfect for day time use! ☺️
It is really lovely on 🙂 xx
