The world changed so quickly, it was hard to keep up with everything that was happening. Our priorities and plans will look so different compared to a couple of months ago. How will your bucket list change in the future?

Explore Home

It’s likely that international travel won’t be happening for a while. Even when flights do start becoming more regular, you might not feel comfortable getting on. So you could make your bucket list focus on exploring places in the UK you’ve never seen before. There is so much to see on this lovely, little, island. From picturesque beaches to pieces of history and majestic mountains. Travelling up and down the country is such a treat, and you don’t have to drive. The train from York to London offers a fantastic view of British countryside.

Be Adventurous

So you might not be travelling further, but this doesn’t mean your bucket list has to be lacking in adventure. It turns out a lot of British people are ready to get their adrenaline  pumping after lockdown. Skydiving appears to be number one on people’s list.

Time with Loved Ones

Your bucket list is about making the most of your life, but it doesn’t all have to be extreme. During this period we’ve realised one of the most important things is time with our loved ones. When you’re given more freedom you’ll want to spend as much quality time with them as possible. Maybe you’re craving just sitting at the kitchen table and having a natter. You can swap all that screen time for real time.

Enjoy Little Things

There are so many things a few months ago that we used to take for granted: going for a beer with friends, popping over to mum’s house for a cup of tea, or even just hugging someone we care about. Your new bucket list will be shaped around savouring these moments and trying to give yourself as many as you can in the future. If you need some inspiration, here’s a 100 things you can do after lockdown.

Make your bucket list everything you’ve dreamt of doing. After living in lockdown you’ll want to cherish everything you can, however big or small. What’s on your bucket list for when all this is over?
